Patreon Choice July '16 Winner AND August '16 Pitch Call
Added 2016-09-25 21:33:08 +0000 UTCIt seems like many people were too busy to vote this month, but we still had a couple of votes, and thus, a winner - choice #3, "Meeting of the Alien Slaying Women", meaning more video game crossover goodness!
Since I had no votes for any other options, there is no runner up this time, meaning that for the next vote, it will be an all-new set of options that I am hoping you'll be able to provide! So I take this opportunity to call for your suggestions right away, with special conditions! This month only, the Patreon Choice pitch call will be extended to ALL patrons, which means that I'll be taking suggestions from everyone who can read this! If you haven't tried it out because you sponsor me with less than $5/month, this is your chance to get your idea tackled by little ol' me - providing that you can get other patrons to vote for it, of course!
Also, instead of 3 days, I'll keep the suggestion box open for a whole week, to give you more time to think of some great ideas for me to draw. The box will remain open until the end of Sunday, October 2, 2016, Brasília time!
Finally, I would really like for anyone who reads this to at least click the "like" button on this post, so that I can see how many people I am actually reaching with these posts. I love you all, but I am a slow writer and I really need to know where to place my efforts for maximum effect as to help me get closer to my goals. If you don't like to read, then I'll draw more stuff instead. :)
Thank you all once again for your support and preference!

A(nother) recurring idea that comes to mind is an illustration that sets up a contrast between some old and modern games and how they tackle divinity. There are older games like Namco's Legend of Valkyrie, SNK's Athena and Nintendo's Kid Icarus where a character comes down from the heavens, usually at the behest of some divinity, to right some wrongs, usually by taking down some threat. Usually these games have a more whimsical tone and aesthetics. Then there are more modern games like the God of Wars series which are all about being gritty, taking themsevles very seriously and often have the protagonist fighting and killing gods. Having characters from one of the archetypes take on characters from the other archetype could make for an interesting clash and contrast of theme and tone, and might even highlight some attitudes toward games and even religion. The way I usually imagine this usually feature Kratos seen from behind standing at the edge of a tall cliff, armed and ready, as Valkyrie, Athena and Pit face him descending from the skies (well, Valkyrie tends to be falling rather than flying at the beginning of her games) with a concerned and/or disappointed look on their faces, looking ready for whatever may come themselves. Picturing it like this might mess up the proportion of how much image would be dedicated to each in the picture though...

2016-09-25 22:03:08 +0000 UTCThe Mustadies "Otterly Embarrassed" Sketch Page: A few months back, I wrote a Musteladies short story (<a href="http://fav.me/dacdvr6)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://fav.me/dacdvr6)</a> as a gift for Myke's birthday. I know he enjoyed it and so I thought drawing some art based on my story would help further promote the Musteladies as a whole without giving too much away. Rather than portraying one scene, however, the idea is to set up a big canvas and fill it with anything that relates to the story.
