Patreon Choice April 2016 Winner and Status Report
Added 2016-06-29 18:53:22 +0000 UTCThe patrons have spoken, and the winner for the April Patreon Choice drawing is choice #2, the style simplification study. For those of you who watch my streams, expect this to be a theme for the next week or so, alongside a bunch of other stuff that I have in my mind. The runner up was once again choice #4, "The Tragedy of AGES", which will become once again an option for May's voting.
What "other stuff", you ask? Well, you wonderful people have also voted for me to start working on the Musteladies comic as April's personal project choice, and I've been hard at work on it! I am happy to tell you that I already completed the first page (which took me two days, even though it's only three panels), and that I already have a complete draft for the entirety of chapter one, which I'll proceed to turn into a comic script over the next few days.
It is possible that my focus on the comic will make my illustration output become less frequent. If you are one of those people who follow my work for the illustrations, I apologize for the shift in focus, but please understand that this is a big deal to me - I traditionally have had a big aversion to long term projects, and if I wish to make this time and effort investment pay off, I really must try and give it my all for as long as it runs. I hope you'll enjoy it.
I only intend to start publishing the comic publicly once I have 5 or 6 pages ready to go, but as a special treat to my patrons, I'm following this post with an exclusive sneak peek at the first page of "Musteladies". I hope that the effort that I'm putting into it is enough to make all of you want to keep on supporting my work!
