Dec 2019 update

I know this month has been a drought of updates and I apologize for that. 

I’m not going to beat around the bush, things kinda got out of hand with us shipping all those covers for Issue 4, plus the printer getting backed up so things are moving as fast or smoothly as I’d like. A few things certainly did creep up on us and we find ourselves behind which is completely unacceptable and we’re pushing to catch up. So yes, we’re late but we’ll make it up. Here’s kinda a few things taking place right now just so everyone’s aware. Just know that we’re going to prioritize Paying Luigi / Capucine for their work to ensure that things continue.

1) Issue 6 is 80% done. That caught up to us REAL quick and thus what we’re going to do, is ship Issue 6 in January to everyone, and then Double ship Muffin Bears / Operators. Its honestly the best method I think to simultaneously catch everyone up and make up for being late.

2) Issue 7’s Covert art winner has been paid, but we haven’t had time to create the other two variants. So the reveal for that will come later.

3) We’re going to try to get Statues made again. I’ve been running around talking to as many people as I possibly can and lots of shit has fallen through. Tier 1’s well most likely get these first if I can pull it off. Right now, the cost for the CAD file is 980$ and we’ve raised $150 of that. So I’ll be streaming on twitch throughout the week and weekend to avoid having to go IGG / KS

4) Holiday Cards! I have thrown up some holiday Cards up on the Shopify Store front, and brought back the “Merry Friggan X-mas” Shirt and Mugs for the holiday season. Next year I hope to have better designs for these. Tomorrow night I will be re-designing the Holiday cards so grab them while you can.

5) ART BOOK: Luigi has made an art book he’s selling. We’ll be grabbing a head count of these for those that want it. Cost right now is $10 +shipping. I’ll have a legit price to you guys earlier.

6) Netflix Deal: Still working this. Can’t say much on this other than that. PLEASE don’t talk about this publicly as it might hurt our chances for getting picked up.

7) Continuation of the series: If you’re not aware I’m currently NOT happy with the way the book looks / feels, as I believe we’ve rushed too many things. So expect the Second Story arc to have a slower more deliberate pace.

8) Overhaul: So this Overhaul we’re still talking about. What I DON’T want to do is screw over anyone that’s been here for a hot minute. I fear that it may end up happening as I need to revise the tiers so that they include the full cost of merch and have everyone opt-in / opt out as they see fit

9) Missing Books etc: . There’s still missing MUGS, Posters, etc that I’m trying to track down along with a few folks missing books, or getting books with things NOT related to RAGS printed in the middle of them. Mainly waiting on confirmation from International Peeps that they got their stuff.

10) Discord Xp Reset / Prize Reset: Discord XP will Reset Dec 31st along with the Prizes. I am still leaving the Robutts Cover on the table until I have a suitable replacement. Right now, the awards will be as follows (Supplies / availability allow) lvl 25 Trading Card Pack; Level 30 Metal ‘Punchline’ Card, lvl 50 Robutts Tradedress cover.

11) CGC / signing books: Until further notice I won’t be able to sign books or mail them out to CGC. TL:DR is my living situation is changing and I’m going to have to look for a new spot to call home by next year and currently unsure how that is going to end up. So.. apologies while I unfuck myself and get that squared away so we can start doing this again.

12) I owe one person a signed / graded CGC Onyx edition that’ll be out the door this Friday hopefully

13) Buy backs: The last call for Buy back is Dec 1st. After that, the price will be way too much for me to comfortable sell to people (Operator and above). 

14) Jan 1st DD-214 holders, Active Duty Personnel and first responders will receive the RAGS pocket Manga as a special bonus for free on proof of service. Later when we get breathing room we’ll do up something special for the Vet community.
