My little Muffin girl

Well, let's talk characters shall we? Since I'm 99% certain We will never get to see Luigi's rendition of this Character. Let's talk about the inspiration behind her. Much like Regina was modeled after Liz Finnegan, our third main Character, Muffin, was modeled after AOR Pink (AKA Marceline Liu).

Muffin's character theme, was that of the joke: Asians are better at literally everything.
Also, she was the punchline to a joke set up very earlier in the series, notably when Regina knife-hands Riley and says 'I don't care Muffin-bear.' which, should have made people go back and read the first issue and see that the line had been used before.
The running-gag was that whenever she would attempt to say her name, Regina and the yet-unintroduced- Operator would constantly interrupt her with either 'Whatever Muffin.' much to the point where she would get frustrated with the twos antics. They wouldn't learn her name until much later in the series.
There was also a running gag of her being smarter than the two, much to Operator's chagrin, and it would be something he would constantly hound her about.
But Muffin's real depth came from that she, too was suffering silently. Having escaped San Diego with her husband and twin girls, who eventually succumbed to the Zombie Plague. Though essentially the 'straight man' in the work, Muffin would occasional enter states of combat high! Especially when she would load her Kel-Tec KSG with Dragons Breath rounds to set zombies on fire, where-in she would scream out ' CHAR-MANDER MOTHER FUCKER' breaking character for a moment and showing that maybe she was just as 'crazy' as Operator and Regina.
The other easter egg in it all, was that the first letters of Regina, Operator and Muffin's names spelt out: ROM, which is short for Read Only Memory.
Later the group would fight Cat, Oscar and Marsh; which is short for .Com but also to be the other half of ROM COM.
Anyway, enjoy Marceline's FB shoots. They're amazing! These would've played deep into the character as well, as she would constantly be changing clothes / gear load outs while Regina and Operator would typically where the same thing. Cie-la-vie.
