This was sad, but deeply necessary for both of them. Stolas can maybe stop putting Blitz on that pedestal now. And Blitz can finally process that Stolas really has feelings for him, now that Stolas put it out in the open. Before Stolas kicks him out Blitz says "Stolas wait I´m s-" so I´m pretty sure he was going to apologize there, but it was too late.
