Weekly update time!

Humblest apologies for the silence last week!

I kinda got approached by more collaborators (that I cannot name at this time) whom I’ve had to discuss their individual projects with over the past couple of weeks!

I explain more below!

In summary:

– The next MMO chapter is still in the works!

– The next timelapse episode is released!

– Some progress for our streaming channel!

– Slight changes in RandoWis content for the time being!

先週はご無沙汰して申し訳ありませんでした！

この2、3週間、それぞれのプロジェクトについて話し合わなければならないコラボレーター（現時点では名前を挙げることはできない）に、ちょっと声をかけられたんだ！

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

This week was a little disappointing as I only managed to work on 3 pages. The reason being I had to focus on creating drafts and demos for collaborators who had approached me these past couple of weeks, hence eating into the time I could have spent on the MMO series.

My humblest apologies for not making that much progress this week.

今週は3ページしか手がけられず、ちょっと残念だった。というのも、ここ数週間、声をかけてくれたコラボレーターのために原稿やデモの作成に集中しなければならず、MMOシリーズに費やせたはずの時間を食いつぶしてしまったからだ。

今週はあまり進まなかったことをお詫びしたい。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

While there aren’t any animation projects currently being produced for RandoWis, I cannot speak of the projects I am currently working on. Argh, these legal contracts are so annoying sometimes! But, I will not be silent again and leave you in the dark! I’ll keep you updated, but will obviously be careful about it haha.

So, I am working on projects I cannot speak of, but at the same time, I have made progress for the streaming channel my friends and I run.

Here are some behind the scenes of that, but please remember that it’s a secret!

現在RandoWisで制作しているアニメーションのプロジェクトはありませんが、現在取り組んでいるプロジェクトについてはお話できません。ああ、この法的契約は時々とても煩わしい！でも、また黙ってあなたを暗闇に置き去りにするつもりはありません！最新情報はお伝えしますが、もちろん注意は払います。

というわけで、私は口には出せないプロジェクトに取り組んでいますが、同時に友人と私が運営するストリーミング・チャンネルの制作も進んでいます。

ここではその舞台裏をお見せしますが、くれぐれも秘密であることをお忘れなく！

I spent the entirety of last week creating these 3d models, though not from scratch!

I found a base humanoid model online that was available for commercial use, then edited the model accordingly to suit each of our character’s visual differences (hair, body proportions, height, and clothing). I even managed to complete the bone system for everyone! I’m happy with the results!

Next step is to create the textures of each of us!

I’ll continue to update progress for the streaming channel here, so please look out for that!

先週はずっと、ゼロからではないけれど、この3Dモデルを作っていたんだ！

商用利用可能なベースとなる人型モデルをネットで見つけ、各キャラクターの見た目の違い（髪型、体のプロポーション、身長、服装）に合わせて編集した。全員のボーンシステムも完成させることができた！結果には満足しています！

次のステップは、それぞれのテクスチャを作ること！

As frustrating as it is, I haven’t practised drawing these past couple of weeks after how much busier I suddenly got.

悔しいことに、急に忙しくなってから、ここ2週間ほどデッサンの練習をしていない。

So as you now know, I suddenly got approached by collaborators again over the past couple of weeks. There’s less than a handful of them to be honest, but it’s just enough to make things a little busier than I’m comfortable with (especially since it took time away from producing the MMO series).

The near future is going to be interesting, as in order to accommodate for this change in schedule, I plan to adjust the types of content for the RandoWis channel.

Specifically, RandoWis animations would be replaced by story-time illustrated videos and YouTube Shorts for the time being. I’ll be straightforward; they’re much simpler, faster, and easier to produce. I have contemplated on whether or not I should be trying these types of content for a while, and I see the busier schedule in the near future as a perfect opportunity to dip my toes into this field.

I hope you look forward for what is to come, and would definitely appreciate feedback if you have any then!

というわけで、ご存知の通り、ここ数週間、また突然コラボレーションの話が舞い込んできた。正直なところ、その数はほんの一握りにも満たないのだが、（特にMMOシリーズの制作から時間が取られてしまったので）私が納得するよりも少し忙しくなるには十分な数だ。

このスケジュールの変更に対応するために、RandoWisチャンネルのコンテンツの種類を調整する予定なので、近い将来は面白くなりそうです。

具体的には、RandoWisのアニメーションは、当分の間、ストーリータイムのイラスト動画やYouTube Shortsに置き換わる。単純明快で、より早く、より簡単に制作できるからだ。このようなコンテンツに挑戦すべきかどうか、しばらくの間考えていたのですが、近い将来の多忙なスケジュールは、この分野に足を踏み入れる絶好の機会だと考えています。

今後の展開を楽しみにしていてほしいし、何かあればぜひフィードバックをお願いしたい！
