Regarding these past 2 weeks.

My apologies for not making an update last week.

Truth be told, I was too embarrassed to make an update last week as it would’ve been no different from the weeks before (no progress for the MMO, some progress for the animation, little to no gesture practices done). The shame comes from being unable to finish the most recent animation time and time again, pushing the MMO series aside, and not being able to add anything more of value to the recent weekly updates.

I thought maybe I could brute force my way to finishing the latest animation by last Monday so that I can start working on the MMO series again, unfortunately the animation was only completed on Saturday (yesterday).

What’s more, the new Lu Plush is set to begin it’s campaign on the 24th April 2024 (https://www.makeship.com/products/lu-plush), and I’ve yet to create an announcement video for that one. The plan was to start working on this plushie video after posting the latest animation and working a little on the MMO series, but since I fell behind schedule again, I could only start working on this announcement video today.

Hence, this week’s update is no different as I spent the weekend finalising the latest animation and immediately working on the Lu plush announcement video.

Sorry for not having a proper weekly update for 2 weeks in a row, and I’d like to ask that you give me til next week’s update to get things back in order. By then, the Lu plush announcement would be published by Wednesday, and I’ll be able to begin working on the next MMO chapter after that.

先週は更新ができず、申し訳ありませんでした。

実を言うと、先週は恥ずかしくて更新ができなかった。恥ずかしいのは、何度も何度も最新のアニメーションを完成させることができず、MMOシリーズを脇に追いやり、最近の毎週の更新に何の価値も加えることができなかったことだ。

先週の月曜日までに最新のアニメーションを完成させ、MMOシリーズにまた取り掛かれるかと思ったが、残念ながら完成したのは土曜日（昨日）だった。

しかも、新しいルーのぬいぐるみは2024年4月24日（https://www.makeship.com/products/lu-plush）にキャンペーンを開始することになっていて、その告知ビデオもまだ作っていない。予定では、最新のアニメーションを投稿し、MMOシリーズを少し進めた後に、このぬいぐるみビデオの制作に取り掛かるつもりだったのですが、また予定より遅れてしまったため、今日になってようやくこの告知ビデオの制作に取り掛かることができました。

というわけで、今週の更新も、週末に最新のアニメーションを完成させ、すぐにルーのぬいぐるみ告知ビデオに取り掛かったので、変わりません。

2週連続でまともな週刊更新ができず申し訳ない。事態を収拾させるため、来週の更新までお待ちいただきたい。それまでには、ルーのぬいぐるみ発表が水曜日までに公開され、そのあと次のMMOチャプターに取りかかることができるだろう。

Also, here’s some of the progress I made today for the Lu Plush announcement video | また、ルーのぬいぐるみ告知ビデオのために今日作った進捗の一部を紹介しよう：

I plan to make these animations not longer than 20-30 secs each. Don’t worry as I’m gonna avoid being too ambitious in my animations moving forward so I can publish more often. Hopefully this is a start of a new era for RandoWis, haha.
