As mentioned last week, this week’s weekly update is a little lacking in content as I’m fully focusing on producing the MMO series for the next few weeks.

In summary:

– Managed to outline around 8 pages for chapter 18 of the MMO series!

– Managed to practice anatomy and gestures!

週刊誌の更新タイムです！

先週も書きましたが、今週のウィークリーアップデートは、これから数週間、MMOシリーズの制作に全力を注ぐため、少し内容が不足しています。

MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

Managed to outline 8 pages of chapter 18 this week!

Considering I didn’t do any animations this week, I had hoped to do more pages, but alas, outlining is really slow process for me for some reason. Or maybe it’s because this chapter has 41 pages, haha. I’m still trying my best to finish as much as possible per week!

The goal is to finish outlining by mid May (I incorrectly typed mid April in the previous weekly update), and then finish shading by end May! It seems possible at this pace, but nonetheless, I’d still like to try finishing it faster than intended!

今週は18章の8ページをアウトライン化することができた！

今週はアニメーションをやっていなかったので、もっと多くのページを描きたかったのですが、残念なことに、私にとってアウトラインを描くのは本当に遅い作業なのです。というか、この章が41ページもあるからか。それでも、1週間にできるだけ多くのことを終わらせようと頑張っています！

目標は、5月中旬までにアウトラインを完成させ（前回の週次更新では4月中旬と誤入力）、5月末にはシェーディングを完成させることです！このペースなら可能だと思いますが、それでも予定より早く仕上げてみたいと思っています！

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

Once again, animations are put on hold for the time being as I’d like to focus on finishing up the MMO series chapters as much as I can in these next few weeks to make up for only working on the most recent animation throughout April!

This month’s RadioWis episode is a little later than usual as the past couple of weeks have been a little overwhelming due to personal commitments, but it's fine now! I'll get it uploaded sometime next week!

今月のRadioWisは、ここ2週間ほど私用で忙しかったので、いつもより少し遅くなってしまいましたが、もう大丈夫です！来週あたりにはアップロードできると思います！

Thank you to everyone who got a [ pinku.papuru ] shirt, and for a successful shirt campaign! I hope you’re happy with your purchase and just want you to know that I’m grateful for the support! These shirts probably won’t be back for a while as I’d like to try creating more shirts for different seasons in the future, and I wouldn’t want to bombard the fans that are interested in purchasing one with too many merchandise decisions annually. Earning a living has been getting a lot more difficult in recent times after all.

Also, right now weekly updates are going to be a little lackluster as I’ll be focusing only on making the MMO series, so I hope you don’t mind. I’ll try to make up for it by practicing drawing a little more per week so that each post doesn’t feel too empty.

I wish I could show you more illustrations and panels from the production of the MMO series so that you can visualise the progress better, but doing so even once without spoiling the chapter is almost near impossible, let alone across multiple weeks of updates. Doesn’t help that I’d want your reading experience to be as fresh and new as possible for each chapter. It’s a dilemma I’ve had since long ago, but one that I’m still trying to figure out a possible solution to, whenever I think about it.

I’ll try and think of something in the meantime.

また、今はMMOシリーズの制作に専念しているため、週刊誌の更新は少し控えめになりそうですが、気にしないでください。その分、週に少しづつ絵を描く練習をして、1回の投稿があまり虚しくならないようにしたいと思います。

本当はもっとMMOシリーズ制作中のイラストやコマをお見せして、経過をイメージしていただきたいのですが、1回でもネタバレしないようにするのはほぼ不可能で、ましてや何週にもわたって更新するのは無理です。また、各章ごとにできるだけ新鮮な読書体験をしてほしいという思いもあります。昔からのジレンマですが、今でも考えるたびに解決策を考えています。
