MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

I managed to work on around 4 pages for the MMO series this week. Though it’s a lot less than what my weekly goal is (15 pages), I’ll just be glad I got to work on it at least.

Unfortunately I only spent Friday working on the MMO series again due to personal appointments that I had earlier this week, which pushed back the entire week’s schedule by a day. I also spent an extra day finishing up the opening animation for the RadioWis show. I did work on some more pages yesterday, but they aren’t complete enough for me to consider them done. Once again, my apologies for not being able to finish more of the series every week.

March is inching ever so closely, it’s freaking me out!

今週は、MMOシリーズを4ページほど作ることができました。週間目標（15ページ）よりだいぶ少ないけど、少なくとも作業できただけでも良しとしよう。

残念ながら、今週初めに個人的な予定があったため、金曜日だけMMOシリーズに再び取り組み、一週間のスケジュールを一日遅らせてしまいました。また、RadioWis の番組のオープニングアニメーションを仕上げるのに1日余計に費やしてしまいました。昨日もいくつかのページに手を入れましたが、まだ完成というほどではありません。毎週、連載を続けることができず、申し訳ありません。

3月が刻一刻と迫ってきていて、気が気ではありません！

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

This week I managed to more or less finish animating the RadioWis opening!

今週は、RadioWisのオープニングのアニメーションをほぼ完成させることができました!

What do you think? Do you like it?

There's still the lighting and shadows that I have to add, but the main animation is done! It wasn’t something I had planned to do earlier, but I’d like to create a logo for the RadioWis show as well to complete the opening.

Initially I was going to use basic text for the title of the show, as you can see, but it feels a little lazy now that I see it in action. I’ll come up with some drafts and hopefully show you a finalised logo next week!

まだ照明や影をつけなければなりませんが、メインのアニメーションは完成しましたよ。以前から予定していたわけではないのですが、RadioWisの番組ロゴも作って、オープニングを完成させたいと思っています。

当初はご覧のように番組タイトルに基本テキストを使おうと思っていたのですが、実際に見てみるとちょっと手抜き感がありますね。何案か考えて、来週には最終的なロゴをお見せしたいと思います!

The next animation has been A LOT of work.

I’ve managed to finish drafting the faces in motion, though there’s still plenty of frames left to draw.

次のアニメーションは、かなり苦労しています！

まだ描きかけのコマがたくさんあるのですが、なんとか動いている顔の下書きを終えました。

Before I draw the remainder of the frames for the faces, I’d like to finish drafting the hair and clothes first. Unfortunately, there is no rotoscoping for the hair and I have to animate from scratch!

顔の残りのフレームを描く前に、まずは髪と服の下書きを終わらせたいと思います。残念ながら髪の毛はロトスコープがないので、一からアニメーションさせなければなりません。

It’s not much, I know, but just drafting those fringes for the first character took almost an hour to get right. I get the feeling this is gonna take a lot longer than I had anticipated.

Thankfully the animations and assets for the RadioWis show is more or less done, so I’ll have more time to focus on this next week. Hopefully.

Oh boy.

でも、最初のキャラクターの前髪の下書きだけで1時間くらいかかっちゃいました。予想以上に時間がかかりそうな予感がします。

ありがたいことに、RadioWisショーのアニメーションとアセットがほぼ完成しているので、来週はこれに集中する時間が取れそうです。うまくいけばいいんだけど。

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

I didn't manage to practise any gestures or anatomy this week., or rather, it would be more accurate for me to say that I chose not to. I wanted to focus on finishing the animations as fast as possible, and despite these practices normally taking about 30 mins a day at most, I still felt like I had to put them aside in favor of this week's animations. More so, a day had already been used up for personal reasons, hence being more compelled to compensate in any way for the lost time.

I'll try not to skip out next week.

今週はジェスチャーや解剖学の練習をすることができませんでした。アニメーションをできるだけ早く完成させることに集中したかったし、これらの練習は通常1日にせいぜい30分程度であるにもかかわらず、今週のアニメーションを優先するために、それらを脇に置かなければならないと思ったのです。さらに言えば、個人的な事情で1日使ってしまったので、その分を少しでも補わなければという思いもあります。

来週はサボらないようにします。

Things have been progressing a bit slower than usual these past few weeks, and my apologies for that. I’ll try to pick up the pace next week!
