Weekly Update | 週間更新 #017

Hey everyone!

Weekly update time!

This week was the final week that I had to do shifts at the fire department, which unfortunately means that I wasn't able to do as much as I'd like to. However, I have just returned from what is my final day of my reservist obligations! This means that I now have the days to myself and can finally schedule myself accordingly!

In summary:

- Finally done with my reservist obligations for the year, so my schedule can return to normal.

– Managed to make some progress for chapter 17 of the MMO series!

– First digital drafts of the next animation.

– Managed to practice some gestures.

週間更新の時間です!

今週は消防署でのシフト制の最終週で、残念ながら思うような活動ができませんでした。しかし、先ほど、予備役としての義務の最終日から帰ってきました ということで、ようやく自分のスケジュールを立てることができるようになりました。

要約すると:

- ようやく年内の予備役が終わり、通常のスケジュールに戻りました。

- MMOシリーズ第17章がなんとか進みました

- 次回作のアニメーションのデジタル原稿を初めて作成。

- ジェスチャーの練習。

MMO Progress Update | MMOの進捗 :

I managed to make some progress with the MMO series this week, despite not being at home as much, and being too tired when I do get home, for the most part. Doing those gesture practices is really starting to pay off as I feel like I'm not so fixated on the details as I do the roughs. Hopefully I'll continue to be more efficient!

今週は、家にいる時間が少なく、家に帰っても疲れているにもかかわらず、なんとかMMOシリーズを進めることができました。ジェスチャーの練習をすることで、ラフを作るときに細かいところにこだわらないようになった気がして、本当に成果が出始めています。このまま、もっと効率が上がるといいんですけどね～。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

Now that I'll have more time, I can finally start working on this animation!

Unfortunately it's not the next episode of "RandoWis Shorts", but a short parody I'd like to make. I think I'll take a break from big animations for a little bit, haha.

さて、時間ができたので、いよいよこのアニメに取り掛かろうと思います

残念ながら「RandoWis Shorts」の次のエピソードではなく、短いパロディーを作りたいと思っているんだ。大作アニメはちょっとお休みです。

This is all the progress I've made digitally so far, but hopefully I'll be able to show more next week!

今のところ、デジタルでの進捗はこれだけですが、来週にはもっとお見せできると思います。

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップと練習:

Managed to do a little more gesture practices compared to last week. Ever since I felt more efficient in drawing roughs for the MMO series, I realise the importance of practicing a little more every time I do gestures. I'll be careful not to get carried away though!

先週に比べ、ジェスチャーの練習を少し増やすことができた。MMOシリーズでラフを描く効率が良くなってから、ジェスチャーをするたびに少しずつ練習することの大切さを実感しています。でも、調子に乗らないように気をつけます。

Thank you all for your patience and support here as I served the fire department again this year. I hope to finally be able to schedule myself accordingly, now that my time has been given back to me. If anything, perhaps having my obligations split during these past 3 weeks have taught me to better appreciate the time I have to create art. I do have some plans that I'd like to carry out, and I'll be sure to pace myself properly. As mentioned previously as well, I'd also like to ask for feedback regarding RandoWis (from FANS/Supporters, and from the public), but I'll do that in a separate post. Be sure to look out for that!

今年も消防団の奉仕活動をしていたところ、皆様にはここでお付き合いいただきありがとうございました。ようやく自分の時間を取り戻せたので、これからは自分のスケジュールを立てられるようになりたいと思います。むしろ、この3週間の間に義務が分断されたことで、作品を作る時間のありがたみが身にしみたのかもしれません。やりたいこともありますし、自分のペースを大切にしていきたいと思っています。また、前述したように、RandoWisに関するご意見（ファン・サポーターの方、一般の方）をお聞きしたいのですが、それはまた別の記事で書きますね。乞うご期待
