Weekly Update | 週間更新 #001

Hey everyone!

Recently I realised that I've been putting too much pressure on myself to make more announcements for whatever I'm currently making, and I get irritated when I don't make any posts to keep fans/supporters updated.

Thankfully I have had thoughts like these before, and I know I'm just over-criticizing myself. Instead of continuing to be upset about this, I've been thinking on how I can make announcements more engaging and meaningful.

The idea I'd like to start trying is to make a single weekly update that showcases all the progress I have made in the past week for projects currently being worked on. "Quality over quantity" is how I'd like to approach it.

For now, the weekly updates will be split into 3 categories; "MMO Progress Update", "Animation Update", and "Warm Ups + Studies". Perhaps an "Illustration" category will be added in the future as well.

It's a personal struggle of mine to get myself consistent and productive with progress, and I think this would help me too as I would be able to see how much progress I have made in the past 7 days. I can then decide if I should pick up the pace or not.

最近、「今作っているものをもっと発表しなきゃ！」と自分にプレッシャーをかけすぎて、ファンやサポーターの方々のためになるような投稿をしないとイライラしてしまうことに気づきました。

ありがたいことに、以前にもこのような思いをしたことがあり、自分を過剰に批判しているだけだと分かっています。このままイライラし続けるのではなく、どうしたらもっと魅力的で意味のある告知ができるかを考えています。

これから挑戦したいのは、現在進行中のプロジェクトについて、この1週間の進捗をすべて紹介する1週間のアップデートを作成することです。「量より質 」を目指しています。

当面は「MMOの進捗」「アニメの進捗」「ウォームアップとスタディ」の3つのカテゴリーに分けて毎週更新していく予定です。今後、「イラスト」のカテゴリも追加されるかもしれません。

私自身、コンスタントに作業を進めるのが苦手なので、過去7日間にどれだけ作業を進めたかがわかると助かるんです。そうすれば、もっとペースを上げるべきかどうか判断できます。

MMO Progress Update | MMOの進捗 :

For today, I'll show the pages for all 5 chapters that is in the works to let you know how much has been done, and how much is left. Next week onwards I'll only showcase the current chapter I'm working on, so that the post is not unnecessarily long.

今日は、現在制作中の5つのチャプターのページを全部表示して、どこまでできていて、どこまで残っているのかをお知らせします。来週以降は、不必要に長くならないように、現在制作中のチャプターだけを紹介する予定です。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

The next animation I'm currently working on isn't a RandoWis Short, but an animation featuring Lu and Puss. Though I won't share too much detail so as not to spoil the content, I will say that it is related to the post about my attempt at making music here.

現在制作中の次のアニメーションは、RandoWis Shortではなく、ルゥとプスが登場するアニメーションです。ネタバレにならないよう、あまり詳しいことは書きませんが、ここで紹介した音楽制作の試みの記事に関連するものです。

I'll share what I can as I continue to finish this animation!

このアニメーションを完成させながら、できることをシェアしていきたいと思います！
