Compendium of Beasts!

Hey all!

As a lover of all wildlife, I've always felt that the Beasts in D&D have been... underwhelming to say the least. At my home table, I've always given them more accurate abilities on the fly. D&D isn't meant to be a "reality simulator", so there will never be a perfect representation of these animals in-game, but hopefully, the Beasts included in my Compendium of Beasts do them justice!

In preparation for an eventual Alternate Druid Class and my current Work in Progress Shifter Class, I've decided to codify some of my own homebrew updates to various Beasts in this living Compendium.

Challenge Rating 0:
I've decided to start with the CR 0 Beasts. Mostly because they're the simplest and the easiest place to start. Once I've got these in a solid spot I'll move on to the higher CR Beasts, so let me know what you think in the comments or over on the Discord server - I'll set up a Beast Compendium channel!

I've also decided to design all CR 0 beats to be balanced choices for the find familiar spell (at least that's the goal).
