Hey all!
Over the last couple of days I've gotten a lot of really solid troubleshooting feedback on both the Alternate Artificer Class and the newly updated Alternate Artificer: Expanded. Some things that got pointed out were pretty glaring issues with how I intended the various features to function, so I decided to do a little mini-update to fix all of those small issues.
Largely, things will play the same - it was mostly small fiddly issues with the new Specializations and Infusions in the Alternate Artificer: Expanded. The full change log is below.

Battle Smith
Modular Defender // Expanded the options for its Infusions.

Specified that levels referenced in Infusions use your Artificer level.

Musical Apparatus // Reworked around spell attacks. Replaced booming blade with thunderclap.
Combat Virtuoso // Extra Attack replacement for Apparatus.
Dungeoneer
Arcane Improvisation // Now no longer expend a spell slot!
Master Dungeoneer // Reworked this to work how I wanted it to.
Gunslinger
Arcane Firearm // You are explicitly proficient with it now. Removed the two-handed property from the base Firearm.
Replaceable Parts // CUT - it is now an Upgrade.
Increased Capacity // No longer an Upgrade - moved to the subclass as a 5th level feature.
Upgrades // Close Shot // Fixed this to work with the rules of 5e.
Upgrades // High Caliber // Now adds two-handed/heavy.
Upgrades // Arcane Railgun // Reworked damage.
Junker
Junker Spells // Added sonic wave (3rd) and animate objects (5th).
Hulking Strikes // Knockback/Prone effect is now optional.
Titanic Rig // Immutable Form // Can allow spells to affect it now.
Puppeteer
Arcane Strings // You are explicitly proficient with its whip attacks.
Reanimator
Reanimated Thrall // Reworked CR limits (1/3 Artificer level).
Reanimator Spells // Added gentle repose.
Necrotic Preservation // NEW 5th level feature.
Advanced Reanimations // You now gain all three creature types.
