Shaman Expanded - Public Release!

Hello all! After a lot of work, I'm releasing the winner of the last Patron Poll, and an expansion to the first original class I created for 5e, the Shaman: Expanded

If you’d like to check out my Shaman Class, you can find it here:

TheShaman: Expanded includes a multitude of additional options for the Shaman Class, some of which push the concept of a Shaman in new directions.

This is a first draft, so I’m interested in any feedback you have!

SHAMAN EXPANDED

Shamanistic Feats. Borrow the powers (or improve upon your own) with these Feats that allow others to share in the abilities of the Shaman Class!

Spiritualities. Included here are four new Spiritualities (subclasses) for the Shaman! Channel elemental power with the Elementalist, divine the future and manipulate Fate with the Far Seer, fight alongside a powerful Giest companion with the Spirit Guide, and channel the power of deceased dragons with the Wyrmbound!

Greater Spirit Totems. More options for the Shaman’s unique way of casting 6th through 9th-level spells! Included here are the Greater Spirits of the Dark Star (aberrant magic), Fissure (earth magic), Inferno (fire magic), Sea (water/ice magic), and Storm (weather magic).

Totems. More elemental options for the main feature of the Shaman Class!

It is!

By the way, one other question: if an Elementalist focuses entirely on one element, they end up with a second Greater Totem Spirit. The way things are written, it sounds like such a Shaman would be able to cast all the spells from both Greater Totems *each* once per day, so they'd eventually be able to cast two 9th-level spells per day. I don't necessarily have a major problem with this (and certainly, an Elementalist deserves *something* pretty nice for focusing on one element, even if there are totems that can help with damage types and such), but it's pretty unusual, so I'd like to verify that this is the intended result.

Yeah I noticed that after I'd already printed everything to PDF. I fixed it on the GM Binder version

I noticed that under Spirit Guide you spelt Geist wrong a few times after the title. Love the new stuff, I am seriously interested in playing a Shaman soon :3

Fenryk

Yup! I thought that would help to emphasize the spirit part of the dragon.

A Spirit Guide is going to need to be careful about positioning when his local cleric decides to turn undead. (Perhaps ironic, since the Spirit Guide gets quite a few staple cleric spells.) Also, is there any particular reason why a Spirit Dragon has such a low Strength (even after it becomes Large)? Is it just too ghostly to exert physical force?

Finally, I can play as Jake Long in D&D (great work, as always)
