I collaborated with Crusader Kings III to create an original song for Legends of the Dead
Added 2024-03-04 17:27:23 +0000 UTCIt's been tough sitting on this one for a few months, but the day is finally here! Paradox approached me a while back about writing a song for their expansion Legends of the Dead. The brief was to make something themed around death, legend, and memory, so I approached it as a bit of a funeral dirge. The video I've linked contains the extended version of the song, but I have also attached the short instrumental version I created.
I pulled inspiration from were "May it Be" and "Into the West" from Lord of the Rings, as well as most of Loreena McKennitt's works. I also listened to a few Requiems and masses for the ending, which uses that familiar Latin text kyrie eleison.
I'm really over the moon about having work of this nature, and hope to do more collaborations like this in the future. It would be pretty great to work with some of the streaming platforms if there's ever a show that aligns with my style. In the meantime I'm still working on some fun Bardcore covers!

Haha, thank you, I'm glad life is pretty good! I haven't considered that, since I've been mostly focused on Spotify and Apple music. I can look into it though.
