Site updates: What are you syncing about?

tl;dr To start syncing perks, action is required from you. Link your Patreon account to your Open3dLab/Smutbase/SFMLab account.

Hello everyone.

Regardless of whether or not you're abiding by your local government's guidelines related to the ongoing pandemic, I hope you're all doing so in safe and sensible manner.

As mentioned in the previous update post regarding the site migration, I've begun the process of restoring certain site features, starting with the Patreon benefits.

With the most recent update, we automatically synchronize your Patreon  benefits with your Open3DLab network account. Instructions on how to get started are listed at the bottom of this post. If you need any help, feel free to contact me through Patreon.

The primary perk that we're starting with is the ad-free browsing. Once your pledge data has been synced, you will get to browse the site without ads. The "Supporter Rank" will be added in the next two weeks, giving you the option to stand out among your fellow site-users. Other benefits like the "Banner image on the special thanks page" will be added as well, but instead of having to send me a an image and a page to link it to, you will get to set these yourself. I'll be sure to publicly announce these when they have become available.

How to link your Patreon account:

Simply log on to one of  the sites (sfmlab.com, open3dlab.com or smutba.se), and click on SETTINGS in the top right. Then proceed to the PATREON CONNECTION  tab. One there, follow the steps to connect your Patreon account. Once  completed, your benefits should automatically be added to your account  within 24 hours. Delays may vary as we tweak and improve the process.
