April Fools!

Hello to all the new patrons! Welcome to SFMLab Gold! This is where you get to find out that you got pranked!

Last year, on April fools, I took down the entire site to make a point about operating costs of SFMLab. This year I took it a step further by introducing a fake premium subscription service for SFMLab. SFMLab Gold does not exist, and if you pledged to the SFMLab patreon in the hopes of restoring SFMLab's functionality: you got pranked. The site was intentionally made inoperable for everyone.

"But that's not funny!"

Yes it was. I laughed so hard at all the messages on Discord, on Reddit and the ones I got via email.

"But I NEEDED THOSE DOWNLOADS"

Nobody needs SFM models within 24 hours. If you say you do, you need to get the priorities in your life sorted out. If you were smart, you'd think about it being April 1st, wait for April 2nd to roll around and go on with your life. The site is completely fine.

"I would never have pledged if I knew it was fake! I want my money back!"

While SFMLab Gold is fake, the site operating costs are still very real, and I hope people will continue to support the site despite this prank I pulled. It's the only thing that's keeping the site afloat at this point.

However, if you only pledged to access the downloads and do not wish to continue supporting the site, I will be issuing refunds to any of the new patrons who pledged on April 1st. If you wish to receive a refund, please send a private message on Patreon and I will usually get back to you within 3 days.
