Tonight continues to be an eye opening experience to see the demand for pokemon.

This is the first time, i decided to sell ETB's by smaller quantites instead of a sealed case to help get more patrons product (190 people vs. 76 people)

In 9 years on patreon, i have never seen that volume of comments on a post to get an item within 2 minutes.

This reinforces my opinion, that pokemon is not in a bubble but something everyone truely wants.

In 2020/2021 it felt very different with the type of buyers.

2025 feels more like 1999/2000 when pokemon launched and had organic real demand by everyone.

The problem this time is distribution is not allowing prices to ever drop due to all restocks having massive markups.

I just restocked Prismatic Evolutions ETB's (400 of them) and i had to pay $105 an ETB. So i would have to offer this product at $125-150 to even be worth it. Therefore placing a new floor price on all restocks. This is why patrons have not seen additional sales on Pristmatic/151 type products. The high prices would not be worth the pushback/anger.

Black/White specialty release coming up = This simply scares the shit out of me. Its going to be impossible to get product.

~ FaB / HIGH SEAS ~

I have never seen a FaB set have this much allocation and product cuts across the board nationwide. I have been contacted by 10-15 LGS's asking for some allocation. I have been contacted by multiple patrons who own businesses asking for multi-case private deals.

I have genuine concern on demand for this FaB release, especially since i will be providing an exclusive PCG slabbed full art Cold foil for the first time since Crazy Brew back in 2020

I know i cant offer High seas in 4 x kits quantitiees this time. I believe i will have to cut it down to 2 kits max per patron to ensure stablity.

The pallets are already in transit to me and should arrive any day now, i dont expect any delays but my situation does not reflect the normal distirbution chain with FaB.

~ FINAL FANTASY ~

I am at a point, i just want to get this launch over with. I am reciving 50-100 messages a day asking about price point and HOW MUCH can be bought and if i would allow private deals at higher prices.

Final fantasy is going to be of historical levels and there is no path that makes everyone happy. Its expensive and theres not enough to go around on any product line.

This release should be a good system test that will flush out short term people.

Prices for FF remain within fair value and within normal range of previous specialty sets.

It is not a scam/ripoff as the gamepiece army idiots will have you believe.

I encourage everyone to enjoy the products and be respectful of others.

Final fantasy play boxes will be sold out and restocks will arrive in waves just like Bloomburrow/Foundations/Tarkir...i expect prices to remain strong and stable.

Theres a LOT of amazing releases coming up AFTER final fantasy that have great oportunity.

Be patient, this industry is a long term play. It is a lifestyle choice that requires discipline and a lot of time to allow markets and prices to move.
