Rudy's Opinion - THIS IS A TEST SALE FOR YUGIOH!
I have a couple YuGiOh! sales planned over the next 90 days.
Depending on patron feedback and demand, i will consider carrying all future releases and i will be able to get the prices lower in the future for patrons if i expand larger into YuGiOh!
Long story short....i always get private messages asking why i dont carry this product even if it is a small quantity.....so tonight is the begining of a multi sale test to see if the appetite for YuGiOh! is real.

Yugioh is the game I played most as a kid and during covid returned to all TcGs. I have 2 decks for yugioh and 2 decks MTG. Pokemon is just a guilty collecting hobby but playing mono green and Esper decks along with my Hieratics and Swordsoul decks are closest to my heart.

2024-11-08 03:24:11 +0000 UTCI haven’t tried to sell any of my yugioh sealed box so I don’t know how difficult it is to sell in the market. I didn’t spend as much money on yugioh nowadays as before after getting into magic. The Yugioh gold series sealed box went up in current market even though the singles such as crush virus card, dark armed dragon, gold sarcophagus have dropped ten folds. Maybe you are correct that the high price is only on paper but tough to find seller willing to pay that price. Time will tell.

2024-11-04 03:05:58 +0000 UTCI would strongly disagree with that on the sealed. While it was not uncommon for the box to go from 55 to 70 or if the set was good it could go up to $90. The liquidity on any sealed Yu-Gi-Oh box drops off dramatically as soon as the chase singles are reprinted. You may see some appreciation in your inventory but selling for higher prices will be much more difficult than you think as the demand for sealed Yu-Gi-Oh 9 months post release is much weaker that you might think.

Any card worth more than $20 is G word Gureented to get obliterated with reprints within one year. As for playing and opening? I play retro formats and have a blast and opening you surprisingly have a good shot of making your money back on a box.

2024-11-04 02:29:08 +0000 UTCTried the Yu-Gi-Oh investing thing from 2014-2017 and it was a black hole for money with a few exceptions and the boxes were impossible get on those exceptions. Until Yu-Gi-Oh alters it's reprint policy's it will be a steer clear for me.
