I understand the price of Ixalan Collectors is continuing to rise on tcgplayer and just hit a new high at of $240+ tax ($265 shipped for most)

Many patrons wanted this item but waited to see if it would tank after release. It did not.

Ixalan Collectors has been added to the monthly list as follows:

We are continuing to see price stability as Wotc/Magic make small changes to printruns and backs away from Amazon "dumps" on all 2023+ products.

~ SORCERY BETA KIT #2 ~

I am targeting around Feb 1st for this launch. I expect pricing to be the same and the NEW promo card to get lots of attention and controversy. The quantity of kits is being raised to approx 2,000 kits to prevent an instant blowout. I still expect extreme demand, and IT WILL SELL OUT. People will get angry. 

The pricing for Sorcery Beta boxes + the Exclusive Promo is far greater than we all imagined. 

The secondary market is very healthy.

~ Loyalty Sale ~

For everyone who survived with me through the last 2 years of a bear market! I have more record shattering epic priced sales coming once the calendar rolls over. Loyalty sale this time around will be structured a little differently to appeal to more people. 

~ Premier Card Grading USA ~

Due to continued demand at PCG USA, i have updated the website to showing standard grading time now 4-6 weeks to reflect the slower holiday staffing/work days and the continue record demand for the company and service.

We are now starting to get our first partnered LGS 100+ card orders in to expand the awareness of the brand and have displays of PCG slabs in stores.

We also need to expand to a 2nd or 3rd laser setup to increase capacity. I expected demand to level out after the initial launch and announcement of my involvement. That did not happen. Ever since people started recieving the Sorcery PCG cards, the feedback has been incredible and the order flow is reflecting that.

I expect that it will take 2-3 years for PCG to have enough slabs in the market to have brand awareness and "premium" prices on 9.5 - 10.0's

In about 6-9 months a new population report database will be rolled out and the massive amount of slabs that were submitted under "manual entry" will be merged onto the population report to reveal the true number of PCG slabs in ciculation.

PCG Europe/Germany should be fully trained and ready to start operations for Europe soon.

The David vs. Goliath Story continues.

~ CONCLUSION ~

While the market feels "terrible" and the game piece era contionues to hurt Magic. I remain very opportunistic about 2024 forward. Long term collectors BEG for markets like this. These are the best markets to play in. The competition is low. The bidding on auctions is low. The excitement is low. All items are way off 2021 highs as the world returns to normal post covid.

These are the times that people will look back and laugh at the price of Boxes.

Most bear markets last between 6 months to 30 months.

Magic has been declining now for 27 months. (peak was summer 2021)
