But as a real answer: Awhile back he ran a high-risk / high-reward sale for a special "Gemkeeper Ruu'di" card. The promo was very expensive. Unbeknownst to everyone at the time of the sale, he planned to give anyone who took the risk on the sale special benefits in the future. The discount on today's sale is an example of one such benefit.
