Hah. I was at work and had no idea it was a frenzy. I assumed all Patrons would be able to make an order, hence the limited number of Patrons able to sign up in the first place. I was way off.

I picked mine up at my LGS and probably paid more than I could’ve with you, but I’m not mad. They’re awesome decks with some genuinely sweet cards. It’s probably one of the better commander sets to drop in some time.

Considering how Friday night went you are better to be logged into your Patreon account and keeping watch on these feeds. The sale will go live here before it hits emails {or at least it did Friday night}. Send the appropriate amount through PayPal and put in the comments what you are purchasing.

Thanks Steve. Ok I'm jumping in and buying a couple sets now LOL. Since I missed out of LOTR collector boxes from Friday night I have money. I still have some Commander decks from 2019 and 2020 and they're doing great financially keeping them sealed. Is WoW commander set=World of Warcraft? I didn't know MTG did that crossover.

I’ll also say I think long term 4-7 years these LoTR commander decks will be a $300 set of decks The unique art is so great on the reprints and some of the new cards have a lot of room for shenanigans. Final thought… my 10 year old loves LoTR and like magic the gathering… I have never seen him so excited for something in either IP space as he has been for this set.

I bought 2 WoW commander sets 1 to play and one to keep sealed. Glad I did. They are super fun to play against each other and they are SO unique. I just got my preorder of the LoTR commander decks and I can say they play really well

Thanks good to know. I might buy a set then. I just hope Hasbro does a Game of Thrones crossover with MTG....that'd be just as big and huge draw....imagine getting a 1/1 Drogo the dragon or 1/1 Danyerys Targaryen foil extended :-) Lots of great card variety with characters, items, and mythos...

I think it's a solid investment, it's a commander product, which long term have mostly shown growth in the long run, plus the set has some amazing reprints with cool new LOTR art.

I'm guessing with all licensed products, LOTR Commander won't be reprinted in the future unless Hasbro renews the license like Walking Dead Secret Lair so these could be considered "reserved" but I'm not sure what it means investment wise. Walking Dead cards I believe really dropped in price since initial release. I really do like LOTR Commander but again investment wise, I don't know....thoughts?
