The story behind the "30th Anniv Metazoo black box" is a meme/joke on the Magic 30 overpriced disaster item.
If you are not familiar with Topps Chrome, they are beautiful high quality cards with all kinds of varients and hidden subsets within the product.
I would encourage anyone intersted to watch some youtube videos on product opening on these items.

Blowoutcards is selling a case for $795, which is what you paid for, I saw the youtube and it seems like the blaster box has better chance to get parallel (I meant color or serial number parallel).. averagely 1 in 2 blaster box. Let me know what's your ratio of getting parallel from your case if you don't mind to share.

2023-05-12 01:42:06 +0000 UTCFor anyone not familiar with Topps Chrome or the card type terminology they use. They aren't game pieces, they are collectors items of very high quality. The kind of cards you slab or grade and put on a shelf. They have special "foils" and "patterned" foils along with extremely extremely rare unique versions along with colored parallel series and serialized/numbered cards. A reasonable comp for how I expect the metazoo cards to come out would be Topps Chrome Galaxy Star Wars. Excellent stuff.
