2023-04-17 01:19:01 +0000 UTCJames, Do you get an email confirmation that your order have been received or shipped? I am also new to buying something on Patreon even thought I signed up some months ago. I know I did read something on one of the other sales that said if your Paypal email is different then your Patreon email you should put your Patreon email in the notes. Assuming I read that correctly

2023-04-17 01:18:08 +0000 UTCThanks for that clarification. I haven't seen anything indicating that is the case yet for this specific sale. I'll be sure to read the 9pm ET post though, and will probably comment regardless.

2023-04-17 00:53:32 +0000 UTCThat is usually how it works; however, be sure to read the whole post. Sometimes, if the quantities are really limited, he will ask that you post a message first on the post and wait for him to confirm your order before sending the payment.

2023-04-16 22:31:15 +0000 UTCThe commander masters decks are going to be bonkers. Not convinced about lotr. Would like to see more of the set first. I'm worried they underpowered it

2023-04-16 21:47:38 +0000 UTCYou are right...and the more disturbing trend of shrinkflation occurring on recent commander decks is something to watch for. There are other products in this space coming out soon, Commander Masters and LOTR, these will be juiced products and imo high watermarks for the year. That's where my main sealed mtg investments will go this year.

2023-04-16 18:00:38 +0000 UTCThanks for the thoughtful response. From an investment standpoint, Im not sure how those planechase cards will fair long term. Planechase will be a very niche commander format. And it can be argued that the current prices of plane chase cards are simply a factor of supply and not demand. So these new commander decks are going the market hard and keep prices low for a very long time. Since the demand is minimal (imo). So in the end, it seems like only one and maybe two are really quality commander decks. The other three, according to prof are decent to bad. So I'm not sure how a case of the decks will fair as an investment. The one deck seems really good, and that deck could be valuable and almost the only one you'd actually want to open and play with. Again according to prof. Just imo anyway. Take it for what it's worth. Just worth noting an alternative opinion and to counter Rudy's "best commander decks in years" video. For openness, I'm getting two sets and splitting it with friends. But I'm not sitting on the whole set as an investment

2023-04-16 16:36:41 +0000 UTCHow are these packaged from distribution in terms of what would be considered 'a case'? Is 8 sets of 5 a case? Do they do the mini/master cases like the box based products?
Robert Schlutz
2023-04-16 15:55:25 +0000 UTCProf focused on there being less original designs in each deck than the previous standard and a dip in reprint value of each deck before announcement compared to the rising standard, with a full three of them down to 65-75, and closer to or below the asking price if bulk is removed. He’s also evaluating them at “retail” of $45+ each and with effectively multiple commander decks coming out every month giving players more overall options. Based on what appears onscreen, Prof wasn’t factoring in the PlaceChase cards or the PlaneChase die, which would a minimum of $5 reprint value and five new cards of potential value for each deck, and a die you’d have to pay at least $15 for on the secondary market if you want the physical one instead of a proxy or simulator. I’m not actually saying Prof’s evaluation is unfair, people who don’t want/value the Planechase components or have a way to profitably move them are effectively taking on trade binder bulk, but it seems pretty clear that when WotC was determining the reprint equity of the decks they factored in the new Plane/Phenomenon cards as five of the “new for Commander” cards, the five reprints AS reprints, and the die itself as a pretty big reprint of at least $15-20 value all on its own. Based on Prof’s history, he would still be disappointed by the decreases and things like so many cheap tap lands in some of the mana bases, and his play out of the box evaluation remains unchanged, but remember that his final evaluation was “they aren’t bad, but wait for them to be marked down” and “still good for players getting into the format”. Welp…Rudy’s marking them down for us, and if you need or can move the PlaneChase components, these have the die, five reprints, and five new cards that currently have no other way to obtain and may not come along again unless WotC decides to print another Anthology like product that includes them or another PlaneChase deck set.

2023-04-16 15:42:02 +0000 UTCProf (Tolarian) really trashed most of the decks in this set. Except for one of them. Is there something that Prof is missing that Rudy is seeing? Value wise?

2023-04-16 08:00:01 +0000 UTCCan we bundle the weekly and monthly sales? I was waiting to decide on this one before I pulled the trigger on the draft boxes for this month.

2023-04-15 22:47:35 +0000 UTCI'm confused is 1 deck set going to include all 5 decks or?
2023-04-15 22:42:37 +0000 UTCSo I believe it’s all five decks. You can buy one set of five. Four sets of five. 8 sets of five. You will get all five decks. Just how many sets do you want is the question.
Anthony Paramo
2023-04-15 21:53:59 +0000 UTCIt looks like on here you have pricing for 4 deck / 8 deck sets. Will there be pricing for doing 5 deck / 10 deck sets?

2023-04-15 20:58:33 +0000 UTCThis is a solid price for what’s included
