Added 2023-01-09 02:54:34 +0000 UTCHey all. If you've been following anything D&D-related this past week then you've probably heard about Wizards of the Coast's plan to revoke the OGL (Open Gaming License) and replace it with an updated version that will strangle any 3rd party D&D creators.
The OGL is what allows people like me, and many other wonderful creators, to make 5e content for you to use in your games. I and many other creators agree that the current OGL is what has allowed D&D to succeed for the last 20 + years.
If you have ever used 3rd party content, homebrew, or anything not created directly by WotC in your game, then you and your players have also benefitted from the OGL. I would highly encourage everyone to take a moment to read and sign the #opendnd letter: https://www.opendnd.games/#open-letter
