Rudy's Opinion - Closure is a term used for people to officially move on from a person/place or event that took place in the past they have an issue with.
I have received many messages from patrons choosing NOT to purchase tonight since they feel nothing inappropriate occured on the first sale. I apprecate the gesture.
At the end of the day, this is something i would like to do as a final move for monarch. In my opinion this is a tainted product that will never be viewed to its fullest potential due to the stigma sorrounding the sets release and blatant manipulation by other parties to cause long term damage.
Many patrons dont even want 1st edition boxes no matter the price, but still want the cheap unlimited to actually play the game, which is why there are 2 options to choose from.
If i run out of unlimited boxes of monarch, Welcome to Rathe unlimited boxes will be replaced and a public message will go out notifing people.
I fully expect the internet to launch all kinds of dumb conspiraces about tonights event, but the simplest answer is the correct one.
These boxes are being sold at a heavy loss on my end out of respect to the patrons who stuck around even after a terrible experience.
