2024-10-17 15:45:11 +0000 UTCI’ve heard that it’s even possibly for one baby monitor to pick up on another baby monitors frequency nearby. Meaning that neighbors were able to hear another neighbors conversation just because they had the same model. I don’t think that someone was messing with this couple though. Too many things going on that were unexplainable.

2024-10-17 03:00:33 +0000 UTCThe one about the Leonard hearing the dog barking in the woods immediately makes me think of a windigo/skinwalker/mimic type thing. I’ve read stories online where people have been outside and they’ve heard what sounds like family members call out to them even though the actual family member was somewhere inside. Also, it’s said that the closer the sound is the further the mimic is away while the farther away it sounds the closer it is. Whistling is also a big no no.

2024-10-16 16:45:58 +0000 UTCOh wow, you've reminded me that when I was in highschool, I'd listen to music on the portable cd/tape/radio player I had next to my bed and when I was ready to go to sleep, I'd turn the music off. Sometimes during the night I'd kind of half wake up to the sound of people talking, and I'd get the feeling they were talking about me. When I'd become fully lucid the voices would stop. I always wondered if the voices were somehow coming from the radio.

I don't think they mentioned where the voice came from other than inside of the house, but I'm wondering if someone hacked into one of their devices and was just fucking with them. I've heard of things like that happening before.

I just found out that my town has a haunted history tour and, despite being a (mostly) non believer, I *really* want to do the tour this year! I find the paranormal exhilarating, too :D I'm very similar to y'all. I'm open minded. I'm ready. I've just not had any sort of experience that couldn't be logic-ed away as whistling in the wind or creaky old houses.
