If you want to break even, flip your spares now and help complete the sets of those few would-be collectors out there. But I suggest we hold our spares until Rudy discloses the numbers, and follow him by burning those spares in a viral trend with all the TCG related hashtags you can think of, garnering hype and making this an iconic moment in F&B history. The demand for this will open long term. The market is more frustrated over the product and the price tag. Still a gamble but am not surprised there is no short term demand.

I believe the price is going to crash. Everyone spoke about the rarity of the item and no one stopped to think about the demand. Doesn’t matter how rare it is if nobody wants it. I fear many grossly over estimated the demand. Everyone excited for this item is a fan hence they are Patreon’s. Therefore I feel the demand has basically been met. For those looking to flip, good luck. eBay is showing a major lack of demand. It’s not like non-patreon customers are lining up to get their copy. On the bright side all the super fans will be able to get their third and fourth copies cheaper then their first and second.

People may get their wish for this to drop below $1,000 per kit. The sales for flippers have taken an immediate drop, with a lot of flippers (I figure everyone under $2,000 per) still trying to get their kits sold. Only one sale on October 10 vs. October 8/9. Expect a drop as they avoid their credit card fees.

I’m hoping Rudy posts the amount of anger and messages for refunds as well. I know many who bought this was hoping not many would sell so their copies are worth a lot. I also know that many are angry that too many sold and that they lost the gamble and will most likely request a refund or chargeback if they can’t flip it. It sucks but it is the way it is. I know many of us bought it because Rudy is a creep and we love him for that. He’s like your friend that you hang out with but because of his weird tendencies you don’t let your other friends know about him lolz. This might go to 0 when Rudy disappears it might go to the moon but we’ll all be old farts or dead by the time it does.

I love watching people compare this to other cards. Everything about this card is unprecedented. The reality is all who bought have their own motives for doing so. If most of those people intend to flip for a quick buck, then it is absolutely in your best interest to wait. Once all those “weaker hands” get rid of their product and it moves into the hands of people who will not let it go as easily, the price WILL rise. This is basic supply and demand. And anyone who tries to tell me there won’t be demand for this card will simply get a 🤣 emoji.

It's hard to estimate the market demand on this. Because remember ALL other cards can at least be had via an unlimited print. But for collectors and fans this is the ONLY chance to get one of these. The price of this card will track that market supply and demand which is NOT the same thing as a game-piece supply and demand metric. In addition, as Flesh and Blood grows in popularity and more and more cards are printed in future sets (meeting a growing demand) then these cards get more and more rare as a % of the total market of buyers. Finally, this card was released into the world in a VERY different manner then all other cards for all other games before it. Just take a few minutes and look at cards that have a very unique and legendary history. Sometimes they command massive demand (like Blue Hurricane, or 1996 champion).

Selling 2 was best way to maximize profits because people would try to flip. Other way was to sell each for $2000 that risks selling less than 750. 100% there was analytics involved. $1000 is typical of Rudy sales for kits that sell out fast.

They're about as worthless as Ruu'di card. The only reason Ruu'di is worth $1000 is because that's what everyone paid for it.

Plot twist. In 4 weeks Rudy calls every patron who bought via FaceTime. If you can prove in 24 hours that you have not sold the card and you still have it, you get your money back. I mean he's been wrong about FaB almost every step of the way just to put in perspective. Nobody is perfect. The only thing he may have done right is putting faith into the game initially if it does eventually take off. But he never thought it would explode else he wouldn't have sold his Wrath or Arcane boxes for what he did. He also thought Monarch would be going back up to 1k because of Tales and The Calling from all the hype but actually the complete opposite has happened. Now I'm a huge fan of Rudy and he is very knowledgeable about these things but it just goes to show you can't just blindly buy into others predictions. Even having a great track record. He has said it himself. Times have changed and nothing really follows normal trends anymore.

In for one. Nobody knows what this thing will be worth in the future, but it's a nice collectors item for people that have enjoyed Alpha Investments Youtube over the years. Maybe it will be worth multiples of of the purchase price, maybe FaB dies and you can't even trade it for a taco. The bigger picture is that these things aren't all that rare, they are approximately 2x more common than any Alpha MTG rare (taking card attrition into account). But IMHO Alpha rares are undervalued, I think we will reach a day soon where any Alpha rare (even HP Deathlace or something) is worth mid to high four figures.

And 1400 in the lifetime of the game (if you think it's going to zero you shouldn't have bought) is a drop in the bucket. Selling this close to capacity has confirmed that there is an obscene overabundance of wealth and credit despite most of the food and goods industry not being able to keep their doors open. If this was a playable alternate art version of an existing card, it would be worth more money. As it is, imo I don't think this card will ever reach above the price point purchased. Had this been 2k I would not have bought at all. But since it was 1k I said wth, I could pay 1k for this and not feel bad about it. I think that was the mindset at the end of the day. I think the price was just enough to knockout a good chunk of people but not enough to knockout the bulk of those who still would buy at $1k. I'm not sure. Am I sour it lasted over 24 hours probably. Had it been a 12hour or 6 hour sale would we have had less sales. I'd think so. But what is done is done. I have no regrets paying the money.

Look folks. Most people who bought this have strong hands. If you are in the tier support level, you are likely at the worst a mini whale. This means the floor for this card is 1000. The going rate for this card is 1400 on Ebay. Not bad for a promo. If and only If Flesh and blood grows it's network, this card becomes more valuable with every passing year. It is the rookie card of Flesh and blood promos with the LSS001 number and there are about only 1400 in existence give or take. Is this rare? It depends on how successful flesh and blood is. If anyone is collecting Flesh and blood there can only be 1400 people who can complete their collection. That is now a fact. This gamble or speculation will pay off as Flesh and blood succeeds.

There is serious historical significance to this promo kit and it will truly age like fine wine. Are most patrons not playing the long game with this purchase? There seems to be a lot of disappointment in the fact that +1000 were sold. I see this as an amazing collectible piece to hold onto whether you’re a lover/collector of the game or someone in it strictly for monetary reasons. Idk, maybe my thinking is too bullish, but I pretty much considered this sale a no-brainer no matter how many sold 🤷🏻‍♂️.
