Magen Player Race - Arcane Lifeforms!
Added 2021-06-26 00:14:49 +0000 UTCHey all, this is an idea that I've had for awhile, finally brought to life after some inspiration from the create magen spell in Rime of the Frostmaiden.
This is a Player Race for anyone that was created through magical abilities.
Playing as a Clone that doesn't know they are a Clone? Magen!
Running a one-shot where everyone is a Simulacrum of the same Wizard? Magen!
Revived by an Order of Wizards after being slain by an Iron Dragon? Magen!
I know the flexibility (especially that of the subraces) can be fairly powerful, but I think the weaknesses from Arcane Construct balance it out nicely. Also, the +2 INT lends this race to being a Wizard, so the extra Wizard spells granted by the Arcane Magen subrace will most likely be a little redundant.
