Product Updates - Please read

Anyone who thought the box EV prior to launch was realistic...

Unless the singles that come out of collector's have bombed too, then it's a hell of a deal. I cracked 7 boxes in the last 2 days and average EV was somewhere around $500 or $600, and that's being quite conservative.

I have been around along while. And I'm not terribly disappointed. I just remember when I first signed up in it was to get cheap magic. And his standard boxes were and still are the best deal anywhere. So still happy, it's just sad that there are so many products that it no longer feels like a deal. With set boxes and collector boxes being where you park money, getting them at retail price gives you no wiggle room if you need to liquidate something. The truth is I took his advise I don't buy on credit, and I don't buy much. just a couple boxes here and there I can afford. Just want to get it cheaper then going to LGS and putting in a preorder is all. Either way I support Rudy and what he is doing just would like things to be a bit different is all.

Honestly, I don't think it's quite that simple. Rudy has a massive customer base and on limited print run/super hot products he has to pay above normal pricing in order to acquire as much as he can to please the patrons/customers. If he didn't do that the chat would be filled with a bunch of salty people complaining why they can't get any products. He's in a no win situation, give a fair price(maybe not the best), or take a bloodbath in losses. In this day and age there are countless options to get the best price if that is all that you are after. For me personally I have the MVP/Dacardworld personal account. Then you've got Amazon/Ebay/TCG/SCG/ Troll and Toad/Card Kingdom and countless others. As long as you spend a couple minutes browsing around it's not too hard to find the best price. No joke, a couple weeks ago I was looking for War of the Spark boxes and seen a Japanese booster box listed for $150. I'm just guessing some new worker listed it and had no idea what they were doing, score 1 more for the bad guy. :)

It's nice that Rudy still prices standard MTG boxes cheap. But I think the mission statement about getting cheap boxes needs to be updated lol, MH2 was the highest price around lol.

he should be near it. the guy that made metazoo is crazy nuts about people getting the boxes for msrp. so hopefully we all can get our hands on some for that.

Has anyone here actually played meta zoo? If so, what do you think about it as a game not an investment vehicle? I read the rules and visited the web site, and it seems really gimmicky to me. Just curious.

I am really digging getting promos and playmates with orders keep them coming it such a wonderful bonus!!! I wouldn’t mind them with Pokémon or mtg obviously those would just be playmats but then again pokemon seems cool you never know might get a promo. Also commander legends love it hopefully you can get more. I have a few boxes that I won’t open but I have still been opening plenty of other commander legends boxes in the last few weeks:)

WPN said Commander Legends should last all year because LGSes are getting stock again, they probably need to order another batch from Carta to make it through. Great set overall, people want more boxes to play with their friends

Awesome monarch unlimited bundle kit. Wished my local lgs offered something similar. Do really want to try the game out and the starter deck with the playmat helps!

Yes after the player Bundle, i will have leftover unlimited cases for sale, but im not sure how many will be leftover at this time. The #1 priority remains to get new players to TRY the game and this promo player kit is targeted at those people
