Added 2021-03-20 20:20:57 +0000 UTCFRIENDLY REMINDER - THE ONLY WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME IS THROUGH PATREON OR ALPHAINVESTMENTSLLC@GMAIL.COM
all other websites / social media / comments on videos / ebay / facebook are ALL SCAMS.
Many patrons have been asking for the last 6 months for me to accept CryptoCurrency as an alternative to paypal.
At this time, if you are interested in purchasing some products using Crypto payments, please contact me so i can work with you on an order. I am still trying to get more experienced with these items.
I have completed a couple transactions with patrons for booster boxes using Bitcoin and Etherium.
This solves the problem for international patrons who have a Mail forwarding address in the USA that could NOT use paypal in the past.
This also solves address restriction problems since i can shp to any address you provide.
Once i get more comfortable with crypto transactions, i will work on making it permanent

2021-03-27 19:45:55 +0000 UTCI am going to wait for the RudyCoin or the TacoLiteCoin to buy in. Then I'll start using it to make purchases with Alpha Investments.

2021-03-24 18:35:21 +0000 UTCBitcoin will hit the mining limit and then it will be raking in the dough from that point on

2021-03-22 02:10:48 +0000 UTCThis is awesome news Rudy, glad to have you join the crypto community! I hope you'll also accept Cardano (ADA) in the future too, it's quite the amazing project and one that I've invested in heavily :)

2021-03-22 01:26:06 +0000 UTCHey Erik, proof of stake blockchains like Cardano solve this problem and operate on significantly less power than proof of work blockchains like Bitcoin or Ethereum. One example was if the network is running 1000 nodes the energy consumption would be about 240 MWh a year (the average annual energy consumption of 24 US households). There are currently 2306 stake pools running, so the total energy consumption would be about 553 MWh a year (about 55 US households).

2021-03-21 20:46:37 +0000 UTCWhen using a credit card on ebay, you commit to the foreign currency purchase. When the transaction is settled, the credit card company charges you in your currency based on the exchange rate at the time of settlement. The bank never holds foreign currency and is not subject to fluctuations in the exchange rate. You can't do that with crypto. Rudy will have to determine the exchange rate at the time of the sale. Patrons will pay with that specified amount of crypto. Now, Rudy is holding crypto and is carrying risk of market fluctuations when converting doges to tendies.

2021-03-20 22:13:48 +0000 UTCI do not support any form of crypto based solely on the ridiculous amount of power required to conduct a transaction. Specifically, if all of the financial transactions in the US were made via crypto, it would require 10 times our national electrical power production. Fundamentally, crypto is a commodity backed by little more than electricity. It's the "Fiat" of fiat currencies. Hopefully, someone can make this a more environmentally friendly option for conducting financial transactions.

2021-03-20 21:33:32 +0000 UTCHey Rudy, I know a bit about crypto I had a mining rig and hold crypto in my portfolio. If you have any questions let me know I know of some resources. Going to post some info in case it's useful to anyone in the community. From my understanding when mining crypto like bitcoin and Ethereum your computer is acting like an atm. So when user A wants to send money to user B the mining rigs validate and log the information of the transaction. This also costs user A a small % of the crypto in order to do so. If you do not wish to mine crypto but still want to get into it. Certain services such as in person crypto atms exist at least near seattle, I think they are found in various gas stations and malls around the US as well. You can also use sites/apps like coinbase which has various cryptos on it. You can trade crypto there as well or send it out of the app to a wallet (which can be stored offline). I do not recommend PayPal or robinhood for crypto as you are NOT ALLOWED to send it out of the app (unless that is changed). Fact of the matter is that if you want to acquire crypto your going to probably get hit with fees. Even just purchasing bitcoin costs $ beyond the value of the coin. Just like the chik fil a speedbump it's just something you have to live with and navigate if you want those sweet juicy tendies. I no longer mine, so my process is to use coinbase and just buy and hold it there, if coinbase does not have a crypto I want, I buy crypto on coinbase and then transfer it to my Bittrex account which holds A LOT more types of coins and has a market where you can trade for what you want. I then transfer the coin from there to my personal wallets where I use them for long term holdings. I hope this was of use to someone :).

2021-03-20 20:51:10 +0000 UTCYeah Scott i would suggest getting your feet wet with nicehash and learn from there
2021-03-20 20:50:14 +0000 UTCI thought about building a computer that could do mining but I was told that all of the sites that you go through to do mining with are basically hacker sites. Do you have a resource that you trust that I can look into this?

2021-03-20 20:45:16 +0000 UTCI just bought dogecoin rudy how many for a box of revised?

2021-03-20 20:43:24 +0000 UTCYou keep this up I'll start thinking the only way to get in touch with you is patreon or alphainvestmentsllc@gmail.com. As long as you keep shipping product before release date and allow patrons that open charge backs to continue ordering though, it's all good. Shut the front door.
2021-03-20 20:42:38 +0000 UTCVery cool. I've been mining and learning about crpto for 4 years. If you need help setting anything up I am no expert but happy to help anyway I can
2021-03-20 20:37:20 +0000 UTCGreat idea Rudy. You could use coinbase for a very friendly PayPal like link to send people to pay you, however you are going to want to use your own hardware wallet for permanent storage. I'd suggest a Ledger or Trezor. I use Ledger.
2021-03-20 20:36:47 +0000 UTCNot accepting dogecoin?

2021-03-20 20:28:16 +0000 UTCTrying to get me your hands on my bitcoin!? Not today! Seriously though it's awesome you're starting to do this.

2021-03-20 20:27:37 +0000 UTCFunny enough Rudy, exchange rates in 2016 was exactly how I accidentally ended up with a position in Bitcoin. It was cheaper to covert dollars to bitcoin over yen and the seller accepted bitcoin so I slammed the button, and was like okay i'm doing this from now on.
2021-03-20 20:26:14 +0000 UTCHell yea Rudy!
