Response Times - PLEASE READ

Due to the substantial increase in direct messages per day, moving forward private messages will have a response time between 5-9 days.


Unfortaently, the message system is 90% questions on USPS tracking numbers and/or longer delivery times in 2020.


In 2020, i believe buyers have different ship time expectations due to the "amazon effect" 


Response times will now be 5-10 days after sending a private message permanetly moving forward.


Good tips to also keep in mind

- if you ordered anything $200+ and gets damage, file for the USPS $100 insurance

- Please read the ship dates on sale posts

- Tracking numbers are sent to the PAYPAL email address

- ALL mail is running slower in 2020...this is normal

- USPS will not assist you until 30 days goes by with no tracking scans

- Sending private messages multiple times, will reset you in the message que and you will not get a response.

 - If you open any form of dispute/chargeback against me, you will trip my circuit breaker and get banned on all platforms. Always communicate and contact me with the problem so i can help you. 



At the end of the day, please be patient, everyone always gets what they ordered.

I know in 2020 everyone is on edge and has more anxiety. Be patient and lets all stay the course. Things could always be way worse.

Literally happened to me my first big purchase from Rudy and I ended up getting trolled by WiFi, finally got things cleared over the phone, and got an "logging in from unusual location" .... Like 9 minutes away from my house lol.... Needless to say, I would hit up your Bank and PayPal, let them know you're doing legitimate business purchases, albeit big ones.

Just in time for friday night my paypal account was flagged with "suspicious" activity so they need the blood of my first born to unlock it.

Its primary function is also as a game, which clearly falls under the prohibited items for media mail. I also ship a lot of video games, for which an even more compelling argument can be made (computer software is allowable...unless it's a game?). I gave up the fight and just raised shipping rates to stay within guidelines. It's not worth the hassle, and I've found 90% of customers to be completely understanding of the reasoning (and the other 10% to be the kind I was ultimately happy to lose or not sell to). Media Mail also generally takes a week or more, whereas Priority is usually a couple days, so they're also willing to recognize that they are getting faster service for the increased cost.

Magic Cards have always been in the gray area about being classified as Media Mail. I can go to the Post Office on two different days with cards to mail out, and the cashiers will always be confused about it and sometimes won't accept it as Media. To me, each card is like a short book, its got art, text, a story. Its Media!

Yep, apparently so. I did not know any of these things until a couple of hours ago.

Thats weird I can’t say I’ve experienced that since I always order enough so Rudy sends it priority mail. That’s weird they’re making you pay for it, what kind of service is that? Edit I found an excerpt about Media mail rules and violations. “When non-qualifying material is found inside the package, the recipient is charged postage due for the difference from standard Parcel Post delivery (at this point, no additional penalties are being applied). That difference may easily double or triple the cost of shipping.”

I just had a strange occurrence. I have messaged Rudy about it already and I am patiently awaiting his response, but I am curious if anyone else has seen this. I ordered 2 boxes of Throne last month. USPS rings my doorbell today and they have my package but they are asking me to pay an additional $21.78 for shipping as they tell me it was shipped "Media mail" and media mail can be subject to inspection. So they opened it and decided that MTG does not qualify as media mail. Has anyone else had this happen to them before? I am just curious.

People aren't different in 2020...people can just be needy and impatient and this is nothing new. I think it stems from selfishness and trust issues of their own doing but are projected onto others. And as if their $200 is worth more than your reputation and entire operation lol

Wow I know some people are getting slow mail, but Rudy emailed tracking on Wednesday, and I got the package delivered today!!! LIKE THATS HELLA FAST!!!!!

Not even upset that Rudy has to implement 5-10 day response time now. ( hopefully the purchase will be received before he gets to respond ) Those of us that have real issues, yes that will suck for the delay, however I know the problem will be resolved anyways. What other vendors keep “extra” boxes on hand for damaged products? To the members that overload Rudy with messages: Relax, take a breath and realize that you’re in good hands. You are not dealing with some shady vendor that oversells and has to cancel pre-sale products. I joined just before the Ikoria collectors issue. Watched how Rudy handled the problem, and knew this was the place for me. Rudy did everything to make it right for us and honor his sale. THEN, he took it one step father and offered the same SALE PRICE to those of us that missed out on the initial buy!! ( he could have easily marked up the price at the time and made more money for all his efforts) Who does all that work these days? SOMEONE who actually cares for us and loves what he does! Ppl need to chill out and realize we have an GREAT thing going here with Rudy!! Ok rant over. Keep up the good work! Sorry you are still going through this overloaded message era Rudy.

This is not a complaint just stating my situation... I ordered a case of standard boxes 4 days after F&B sale and the standard boxes arrived today (4 days after sending payment). Still waiting on the 4 F&B kits to arrive (USPS tracking still has not updated from pre-shipment on any of them). I've never had an issue receiving my order from Rudy, but not having the tracking update a week later is concerning. Especially when an order placed well after the fact arrives first. Here's to hoping it all comes through! Stay the course Rudy, thanks for dealing with the crybabies, and still providing us with these deals!

ok...this makes sense...but 2 of 3 boxes of my FAB Crucible kit got crushed... $100 insurance doesn't cover that much damage...

Holy hell is Rudy ever sleeping? He posted this at 1am his time instead of being able to sleep. This must be a stressor in his life that is unnecessary. Keep up the great work Rudy and gets some rest when you can.

Easier solution: "Any messages asking 'Where's my stuff?' less than 10 business days after stated shipping date will result in immediate banning from all platforms." Weed out the trash; keep those who act responsibly.

You know they say nine out of ten concerns are unfounded rudy. I recieved noticed of shipping. 12 hours later usps had it updated. People need to take a chill pill. Rudy was way faster and informative compared to my MVP experience this round.

Yeah some people who message constantly about shipping really need to take a chill pill. Priority mail may not always make it up to 4 days, and sometimes they are going on unconventional routes to get packages delivered. The expected delivery on tracking isn't always accurate, if the last tracking point isn't at your local hub, chances are it's not getting delivered that day.

I appreciate the transparency! The taco empire stands by you. All the Timmies that don’t like it can relocate to pound town.

I see Rudy is seeing the down sides of selling magic anything in 2020. I have experienced it first hand selling to people on ebay. People are unfortunately not patient and never wrong lol.... At least when it comes to ebay. But I have the same policy as Rudy...Ban hammer is strong 💪 on my store.

Good policy. Circuit breaker implies that it can be reset, it's more like a blown fuse and you are done for life, haha. Moral of the story is to not be an ass and you won't be treated like one!

I hope at some point all this craziness dies down a little, and response times will see a retracement. I know we'll never get back to the previous lows of 2 days.... 🙃 but as we know, quick spikes like this are seldom permanent. 😉

I recommend setting up an additional email for only shipping related questions so that other private messages can still be responded to in a timely manner.
