But these contain mostly reprints (including a few "reprints" from the main set, which don't really count as reprints in some people's minds), with only 3 new made-for-commander cards. Compare that to like 20 new cards per deck in C20. Also different packaging and (I think) no oversized commander card (correct me if I'm wrong). C20 had 5 different decks; this has only 2 different decks. And finally, these are designed more for beginners, like the planeswalker decks they're replacing, instead of established commander players.

2020-09-12 01:20:25 +0000 UTCYeah, I think people are going to discount it somewhat because it's a "beginner's" product and akin to Planeswalker decks, but imo, they're light years better than the PW decks they're replacing. People will also focus on the main commander products for each year instead of these. But at least for this set, I think these are solid. (If WotC follows it's normal pattern, the commander decks a couple sets from now will start being a lot more lackluster....)
