Wow that's wild they can open it without the glue getting messed up. Rudy was right they needed the wizard logos on the plastic. Pikachus incoming. Also you don't even have to wrap it in plastic to return it to amazon.

Exactly Michael. Source is ultimately the best decider from whom I ultimately purchase from. I can have a Timmy down the street telling me he's got M21 at 59.99 a box and they've got the Wizards seal and everything. I'd turn that down because of the shadiness. If you have a solid reputation on eBay or TCGPlayer it will go a long way in the future when trying to resell this product. Honestly, I think most people 5 years from now are going to have a tough time buying this stuff because they'll always having a knack for believing its been searched. There are going to be a handful of sellers with great reputations that will make good money on DM but for the rest you may as well open it because it will never appreciate like you'd want it to.

Pokemon, guess we aren't catching them all right now. 😭 hopefully someday though.

I have yet to hear anyone say, oh, that cardboard box has "stop" tape sealing it. I am less comfortable with the purchase, cause you may have searched and replaced boxes inside and resealed it. On the other hand, i know folk who immediately open the box to confirm the contents anyway. Think 1 per case chase cards. Think back to the day when people mapped out cases and picked the two boxes most likely to have what they wanted and sell the rest. The stories go on forever. Buy from someone you trust, it's a simple as that. Otherwise, live with your gamble. Selling? well that's another whole issue. Try having no trusted reputation and selling a Revised Booster Pack.

You raise some good points Carlos. I think it's too early to tell how long term VIP packs will be handled. The extra seal over the thermal label on a printed box does help a bit, but then again how many buyers will want to buy 4 packs as opposed to one, which is how most booster boxes are sold on secondary market after a few years.

To the people complaining that you did not receive a full 4-box case. I don't want to come off as a jerk, but everyone will be wary about the product in the future. Thinking that having them in a case as a fullproof way of convincing future buyers that they've not been searched is not going to work. It's very easy for scammers to duplicate the way they came from Wizards. WOTC dropped the ball with this product. I think something that's even better than a box from WOTC is the receipt you have from Rudy. He's known in the MTG world and referencing that they came from him in your future sale will put people's minds at ease - much moreso than a box. If I were to buy an unlimited starter pack online and the person can prove it came from Rudy I would feel much safer making the purchase than if it came in a Wizards' box. Just my 2 cents.

I received all my products today. Thanks Rudy. Opened 2 of the 12 Ikoria Blisters (putting the rest away) and got the Death Corona card.

UPDATE 8/10/20 @Renee and those that had missing box toppers. Still playing tag with Wizards support. “ We haven’t heard much of this missing box topper issue, please send pics and receipt showing proof of purchase, and will will investigate further” Slow process , but at least there is some communication. *Note, even with the missing box topper, I’m pleased with the overall product. Not bitter, just want full product for the purchase made. ;)

I suggest you private message Rudy. Also check your spam/junk mail folder, you should get a message from Creepy Rudy Magic Dude with your tracking number at the email address you have on your Paypal account.

I have not gotten tracking or a message for my vip packs, has anyone else got anything like that yet?

Not much different from early MTG. Revised packs are completely searchable, and Revised Boosters did not have Wizards branded wrapping, yet Revised still commands a ton of cash to buy. So, long term should still be ok. Short term? That's anyone's guess. Plenty of single packs selling on Ebay. You heard Rudy, he does not recommend buying single packs. Of course, the "sealed" boxes are not much better, as anyone can get the tape used to seal the boxes. It is not Wizards branded sealing tape.

What's everyone's feelings on holding the VIP packs sealed long term? Do you think that the value will take a hit now that we know these can be tampered with? Midwest EDH has a pretty scary video up on youtube showing just how easy it is. I have complete confidence in product from Rudy - my concern is on resale.

I was curious so I opened one from the bottom. You can't even tell it was opened. There was little glue on the bottom so absolutely no tearing of the box occurred. It honestly shocked me because I was not careful at all.

Yea it kinda sucks it wasn’t in a box but it should be ok. I don’t think you’ll find many who will buy a whole 16 case sealed box. Mines arrived the same as yours. The ones I got from mini market came in the sealed box but it’s just cardboard and that specific label that comes in any sealed product box. I gotta give Rudy credit for being able to Tetris them all in that standard box lolz.

Hi Rudy, Received my boxes - was disappointed to see only the individual boxes instead of the 4-box case. Worried about keeping and selling these later with all the VIP re-sealing scams we are seeing. Anyway to swap (will pay to send them back) for sealed 4-packs? VIP is good as gold, fun openings. There is a god pack unbox vid out there, whether it's legit or not will be interesting to see over time. Seems plausible since they got box toppers in all the non-foil land slots, and still got the 2 foil lands. Also, did anyone ever read the side of those boxes where it says "foil mythic borderless in 66% of VIP edition packs".

Got my double masters standard boxes yesterday. The pulls were outrageous on one, and I'm saving the other. It really is an excellent product!

Paid July 23. Payment is still pending in PayPal. Says "Alpha Investments hasn't accepted yet."

Yep, one box topper pack per draft box. I opened one today and It was rather loose in the box like all of masters products.

Word on the distributor level is that a printer got fried and that is why Jumpstart is a scarce mess, expect a 2nd wave later this month.

So I just opened both of my double masters boxes—second one I cracked I had a box topper which was awesome! But I just looked it up and they’re all supposed to come with one? First one didn’t—curious if this happens to anyone else

From Rudy's post "Friendly reminder, placing your orders at the end of the month or right at the beginning will always have longer ship times due to the spike of last minute orders every month." He is just getting to standard box orders, so be patient. Rudy is a one man show, but he stays the course until all orders are filled. :)

Anybody get their tracking for standard boxes yet? I ordered a case on the first and still haven't gotten a email of any kind. It's my first time ordering and I'm starting to get nervous that I did it wrong

Tracking would tell you if it is "out for delivery" vs, "in transit".

Rudy can you open one of the VIP packs from the bottom? i know people are nervous about resealing vip boxes. With all the glue on top, I wonder if going from the bottom would be just as hard.

Standard 2xm boxes were a much better story though :) pulled most of the high cost cards in the set

Got my VIP masters box today! Pretty hosed but I guess it could have been worse. Only 2 mythics in the 4 packs with Karn Liberated showcase being the most expensive card.

Nice idea and all Carlos, but I think the dispute time from PayPal is 6 months. It's a tad unrealistic to hold product for so long just to make sure there's no shenanigans being pulled by someone new.

I'm a little bummed about Pokemon as I play that game more than Magic, but hopefully that changes in the future.

Thieves ruin it for all of us. I think that there should be a rule in place for new people such as myself, i.e. hold money until it clears to ship out. After a few months if all transactions have been done without problems you get on the "good" list and have shipments ship out immediately along with long time Patrons.

Disappointing that Flesh and Blood is still going to being offered while Pokemon isn't. Pretty sure one of those two products is actually investable... and its not Flesh and Blood.
