Debussy - Rêverie

There is something so soothing about the flowing melodic line, the way it repeats in almost a trance-like manner, that can't help but make you feel like you're in a dream. Did you know that Debussy later disliked this piece? It's fascinating how often this happens to works that become popular, can you think of another case where this happened? A certain Rachmaninoff piece comes to mind, and perhaps a Chopin too. I hope you enjoy this last week of waiting ♥
