Added 2020-05-10 02:36:58 +0000 UTCI am on order number 585 out of 900 so a lot of patrons have tracking already
Keep in mind, these will START shipping Friday 5/15/2020. With most people getting the boxes on monday / tuesday the following week.
3,002 boxes were the count yesterday, due to some non-patron attempts to slip in orders and some patrons who placed double orders. The total has dropped to 2,912 needed to fullfill.
I acquired 60 additional boxes today from another store. Bringing the supply side to 2,040 now.
As the gap continues to close in by the day. I have received a lot of message with patrons wanting to swap into some Commander 2020 sets since it looks like Commander 2020 is continuing to rise in price. Many patrons are reporting local stores are now charging $300 for a set of 5 decks with tax. yikes. Ebay / Tcgplayer appear to be holding a solid $250.00+ shipped with tax.
As of right now, sit tight, i want to finish auditing all 900 orders to get an exact quantity of boxes i need.
As of right now, i still have no intentions on refunding anyone and i think this will work out.
Todays update is a small one, i am focusing on the order processing and shipping labels still.
Expect reduced videos on youtube and slow message replies still

If it helps anyone make any decisions, the collector boxes are back at $199 on Ebay and may start dropping a bit. So, maybe a swap with Rudy on the higher priced commander stuff and you pick up your extra boxes on ebay once the price drops a bit more.

But it has been about a year and with the pandemic wizards is probably backed up and not wanting to print more. Rudy probably has some inside knowledge from distributors about it, and is trying to help people out.
