Would rather get more GRN than either of those Masters sets. I got burned on M25.

I currently have two cases that I acquired for 152.53 and I'm not sure I'll ever make a single dollar on that crap set. I'll defend my statement with numbers, the EV is pretty bad on the mythic level. Only 6 are currently over the MSRP of a pack at $10, they are entirely driven by Modern playability (and some being targeted towards legacy), with very little use in EDH, with Jace being the big hitter. This really hurts the set I feel the most compared to Battlebond or even more of the EDH focused sets which tend to hold slower but constant yearly price increases. The rares are a bit better with 14 being in the +$5 range, but no one really plays port and blood moon has now had a million reprintings saturating the market . Most of the rares do not strike me as teir 1 competitive rares, but there are some usable EDH cards that have high playability that lost over 50% value. The worst things is the uncommons which you expect to fill the EV out, only the top 6 have any real playability, but only 4 see any sort of actual play and 1 is lighting bolt. There is very little if any growth of these cards I feel. Obviously the foils of these cards have a decent EV, but disregarding the crap quality of foils, if you hit anything other than these 24 cards you are totally boned. The commons are a total joke as well with essentially no $ there, with an EV of $100 at TCG low there is not much arbitrage to entice the foil gamblers on this set outside of Jace. I don't personally see the $140 price range being worth it and I'm super afraid of the value. That being said, I hope you can move the set to anyone and everyone to prove me wrong, but I will pass on this.

I'd pass. This mostly a personal thing as I have most, if not all, of the cards in both sets already in their original form. Since EDH and limited are my preferred forms of magic these days, I can't justify the price. Maybe that's me just being short sighted timmy but none of those cards are reserve list... clearly.

Good Evening Rudy, My response would be that although I have already purchased a large amount of Iconic Masters since its release, it is the only set that is getting low on as far as my chaos drafting goes. I do still have 2 unopened boxes of Masters 25. I am most certainly looking forward to the upcoming core sets, other master sets, and cons/BB set. With that said, I'd prob. only purchase another two boxes of Iconic Masters just to keep make sure the Chaos pool didn't get depleted of the Master sets as long as possible. Thank you Rudy
