Hey guys this is Timmy 😂😂...just got an email from Amazon today(day of delivery) saying my Ravnica boxes aren’t coming for another 3-4 weeks!! Looks like this Amazon distribution is a disaster to start. Was bad enough they were supposed to come 4 days after release- brutal. Take Amazon out of the loop and give the cards back to the MTG stores and Rudy...this is a complete failure 😠😠

UPDATE: Almost all the GOR rares are bending bad as well. Anyone else seeing this?

MTG Pack A Day

I think tons of people ordered before the announcement which might of been why he said he only had 200 boxes. If he didn't count the early order's that 200 boxes might of been more like 100 boxes.

I just checked my email, and found out that my order got refunded. I sent payment within 1-2 minutes of the announcement being posted. I think I followed payment instructions correctly. It's my first time buying boxes, so I'm not sure if I did something wrong, or is it because the boxes sold out within 1-2 minutes?... Kind of bummed about it. =c

For all the people less than $20 tier don't worry some of us in the $20+ tier didn't get any either. It was an awfully small supply can't fault anyone here.

Just a suggestion, but perhaps instead of saying that you will discontinue mew sets, just be sure to specify that that new sets are explicitly based on price tier. $100 first priority, $20 second $15 third, and so on. I think people are less upset about not getting boxes, and more upset about the policy being unclear before the set is released. Rudy we all all love your channel, but more explicit explanation beforehand might be useful. If $5-15 patrons get unexpected boxes when they didn't expect any, then it might cause less strife among your patrons. They may even be grateful for the parameters of their price tier being more clearly laid out beforehand. Thanks for all the amazing, entertaining and informative videos Rudy!

I never open the boxes I buy for Rudy so this doesn’t impact me at all. Love your videos and happy to always support you Rudy! Thanks for everything. I think we can all use some perspective and thank Rudy for how much better and cheaper he has made magic boxes for the many of us for over a year now.

I don't really agree on how this release was handled. I still love Rudy, his channel and videos and will support him the best I can. Having said that leaving 10-15 dollar folks who only wanted 1 or 2 boxes to play with friends out in the cold, while selling 3 cases to folks who will just flip them on ebay leaves a bad taste in my mouth... I understand that WOtC is at fault, but come on... At least let us get in on the action and limit the lower tier patreons to 1 box.

While I am waiting, on the restock, I am going to invest in the new Munchkin CCG as a hedge.....

The potential problem is that the ev of boxes will drop significantly by the time there is a massive restock and you'll be able to get boxes anywhere for 85-90 with the cards being worth half of what they are now.

well this suck. Really strange we didn’t have this problem with M19 and Dominaria. The number of boxes went from 120 to 200. Well I don’t know if Wotc is slapping my balls with a floppy taco or Rudy is pulling the bus to Hoe Town and all the low tier patreon is being forced on. Another thing to consider is that all the 10$ patreon all 100 of them are loyal patreon who got in on the beginning and they are getting shafted everytime along with the lower teir 15$ who got in close to the beginning.

Lol this is hilarious. I saw the notifications and it had 2 for 1 hour ago, one saying he had extra boxes and the next saying they were gone lol. 200 boxes really isn't that much, especially in Rudy land, where a thousand boxes is no big deal.

Wow this really really REALLY sucks. With margins so tight on ebay/PP there's no way I can buy a $90/$100 box and make my money back and by the time you get a restock the bottom will fall out making it an even less profitable enterprise. Fuck a duck

I watched your videos and pre-ordered long before this point simply due to the possibility of it turning out like Dominaria as you had suggested. With the Amazon thing "siphoning off boxes" as you put it, it makes sense there would be even less this time. Oh well, I guess I'm doomed to be that one guy that just loves your channel a ton and is throwing 10 dollars your way for no sane reason. XD

I think 15 dollar patrons should have been allowed to buy but limited to 1 box. That way no1 would cry. Most of the 15 dollar people want the box to draft with their friends, not 10 boxes to flip on ebay.

I agree stopping new products is lame. People can up their patron pledge if they want more shots at the good stuff right?

I understand peeps frustration but Rudy’s model was made before the change in supply so it’s no ones fault. I hit him up 3 weeks ago asking about quantity and he replied it me in 2 hours flat telling me I better prepare for him to be short. You have to have a fallback during times like this with wizards changing the model.

I dont buy any of this new crap because it sucks... it's not real MTG anymore. But I am a 20.00 patreon to support Rudy to be able to do these things... honestly if Rudy stops offering new sets so people like Alex dont cry I'll drop my support all together... you get what you pay for and get what you put in... rule of life....

I patreoned at $20 and I didnt get a chance either so dont feel bad :) Im not that worried about it though, I can wait. theres only one card from the set that I want in my current orzhov knights tribal deck so I can wait.

I think waiting 45 days is a good plan moving forward, these changes from Wizards are lame.
