~ Updates on Masters 25 ~

It appears wizards has pushed the spoilers to last minute and will be starting spoiler season literally 2-3 weeks before release. I am expecting spoilers on 2/26/2018
In addition it "APPEARS" wizards has instructed distributors to also not give out large stores exact allocations until within 3 weeks of release. Small stores will still get the average 8-12 boxes.
This has NEVER happened before. I have emailed everyday for my exact number of boxes to move foward on pre-orders. No luck still.
A lot of stores are preselling on ebay at a conservative number to make sure they do not oversell.
1 Distributor has stated to me he believes this will be the strongest master set since the original Modern masters in 2013.
I am STILL skeptical but i thought it was important enough to pass along.
I find the entire situation suspicious and strange.
I expect to be ready for preorders on 3/1/2018 with the new month.

Boxes will start shipping on 3/14/2018
I will send out a sign up list for box openings on the channel around the same time.
I do not have a set price still since i dont want my price to be way off track on high or low side like from Iconic masters.
I will make sure the patron box price is below the market price on the day of the pre-orders as with all other master sets ...except iconic masters :-(
P.S. NO...the rumor of more unstable is FALSE

Nope... Another disappointing set. I'm not sure I want to buy boxes at release for anything anymore.

Your comment about disti not getting much info and being told to hold allocations, makes me really suspicious. I'm wondering if this is more around price control in the face of a lack-luster set. In other words, keep supply low enough that disti doesn't drop prices because even if it's not an amazing set, it'll still sell somewhat well because of some of the chase cards. This also means you can hold back on having printers do another print run until prices have pushed up high enough that disti will definitely take the allocation.
