Japanese Commander 2017 Sets?

considering the japanese ones from last year are showing up at walmart and the expensive ones are selling out immediately, i think you have a market if you're only getting 100 of them for sure.

I've got a friend who is teaching his kids MTG in an English/Japanese language home - no interest on my part though.

No interest for me either. I only buy foreign language cards if its the cheapest option in a competitive deck. Commander is too casual to go out of the way to save a few bucks for me.

I guess my LGS might be using the same supplier, they currently carry a set of the Japanese Commander 2017 decks. Was tempted to get a Vampires but ultimately don't see the point in it.

Pass here, 2 LGS I go to strictly doesn't allow full foreign decks for tournaments (few people already tried), and some players got really irritated :)

I like the look of Japanese and Korean cards. Typically when I'm "blinging out" an EDH deck, I throw a couple of each in there.

depends on if I can get my hands on an English set for the same price. if English is available at the same price, I'd rather go for English. otherwise I'll happily buy non-english

I rarely buy Non-English. Mostly for the same reason you mention in video. I find they have a harder time selling and I look at a lot of the collection, on some level, as an investment.

With the value of this set banking on the unknown amount of restock coming and the fact JApanese sets have held less value in general I would be out, but definitely interested in what happens to the value of them after we get info on the restock of English versions coming.

Probably not, and I believe the pattern is, Japanese Commander sets are typically worth the least.
