Eldritch Moon back in stock + interesting facts

Here is the standard sets and availability as of right now from Wizards/distributors. A trend seems to be forming where wizards is placing sets out of print at a faster rate than previously. No video has been made on this topic yet. I find it fascinating.

Long short story as of now Smaller set rotates faster. Approx a month faster for 20 cards. Upcoming: Kaladesh released October 2017 264 cards.. 264/20 =approx 13. November of 2018 is end of kaldesh print Aether released February 2018 184 cards... 184/20 =approx 9. November 2018 is end if aether print Amon released May 2018 264 cards... 264/20 =approx 13. June 2019 is end of amon print. Additionally set are approaching a stable 264 with 15 mythics in 1st set of new block. And 184 with 10 mythics in 2nd set of new block. With very identical numbers of commons and rares in each set. For what its worth i really think if anyone dares keep a box sealed for the future it should be the 2nd set in the block. Even then the print numbers seem astronomical at this point. Player base would need to grow by 20% to gain much value. Or the set would need to contain cards in the mythic spot that people need 4 of(s) in their decks. Even then its gonna get torched up one day by iconic or eternal or "insert stupid reprint name" or modern masters. Good luck everyone!!

2017-05-19 01:26:49 +0000 UTCRudy, I don't think it is that they are going out of print faster then usual when compared to rotation but rather they should have been out of print before amonkhet came out. Due to the original plan rotate these sets. However, the fact that they changed the rotation looks like they decided to keep them in print longer then originally ment.
