For the monthly box, and his other sales, it's the same opportunity for everyone except that people paying more can get more of the product at the same price.

Throughout the month i try to always offer 1 extra sale item (MTG or pokemon) While i do appreciate the suggestion about duration's, patreon does not offer that type of setup. Lastly, I would not base any of your calculations on purchasing items around the very rare long term patreon specials, that is simply a bonus that is rare, and if you are calculating that into your support each month, you will be disappointed and patreon is probably not a good fit. thanks -Rudy :-)

2017-03-18 04:25:42 +0000 UTCHi Rudy, I apologize for this in advance because Im a new patron and new to this platform. I haven't had a chance to go through all the posts either. So this may have been addressed before and if so let me have it with both barrels. I want to make a suggestion for how you manage patrons. From what I can tell, you have better prices for long time patrons (the exact definition of "long time" Im still trying to figure out). The foundation for that arrangement makes sense on some levels. But that setup gives a new patron like me the big hose and the floppy taco at the same time with flash sales of 199.00 per box of MM17. MM17 can be had for the same price shipped on ebay. Some of the other patrons have posted comments of even better prices they've locked in through other sources. Its like having a Costco membership that gives me no discount until Ive been shopping at Costo long enough to earn a discount. My suggestion would be to offer non-refundable patronage of different durations (example: 1 year patronage for X dollars, 6 months for Y dollars, both non-refundable) that give different levels of discounts. At least then I can take advantage of real discounts immediately instead of paying a monthly fee while eating a floppy taco and paying ebay prices for MTG until I become an accepted member of the treehouse. Dont get me wrong, I want to support you. Your youtube channel is great and Ive been binge watching your videos ever since I found them 4 days ago. They are informative and entertaining. But I dont want to wait 6 months or however long it takes in order to get some benefits from supporting the endeavor. Just my two cents. Thx
