Google Has Disabled The Gmail / YouTube

Google has "disabled" the account now.
Everyone is telling me to stay calm and this can be pretty normal considering the amount of attention it has received. It "feels" like it tripped a security measure in place if google thinks something is going on. I just submitted the disabled account "appeal" form an hour ago.

It appears the channel is still running, but no one can access it now.

Just wanted to confirm if the phone number they'd have on file for your adsense account is still accurate? If you're concerned it's not, you can send me additional contact info at szibble at google.com and I'll get it to the right people. Otherwise, your Partner Manager should be attempting to contact you. Sorry you're having to go through this!

I actually tried to match up a phone number on Yellow Pages Egypt from the names associated with the email they used and the last 2 digits (27). I guess a cell # probably wouldn't be listed, but it was the only thing I could think of trying. I don't have many connections yet, so I'm glad to hear Tolarian, MTG HQ, and another person were able to help out! :D

This isn't to say that I don't perk up every time I see a new video, or that my wife doesn't knows you as "that guy who makes you laugh so loud you wake our baby up (honest-to-god truth)," but rather that I want to stress the significance of what just happened/is happening. Having your work stripped away from you has to have taken a pretty big fucking toll on you (you look like hell in your last video), and I can't imagine how your life has been just doing the daily grind with this hanging over your head. If you haven't considered it, you may want to take the holidays to recharge instead of flushing out more content. It sounds like you have a pretty good personal-support network with your family and I know first hand that if you're working with the military they have your back too. We're not going anywhere, and we can certainly wait as long as it takes for you to get set up physically and emotionally. Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas

2016-12-23 13:14:14 +0000 UTCRudy, once you get your account back you are definitely going to want to scrub your PC and any other PCs you've accessed it from lately. Also, scrub your account profile and all of your information - edit everything, even stuff that looks correct. My wife got hacked multiple times in WoW back when that was a thing, and it was because the hacker left different traces of information in the account that would let him seize it again. He even went so far as to spoofing my wife's account at hotmail and e-mailing me asking for her password, and then tried hacking my accounts. Change all your passwords! You can use a password manager like LastPass or something, but all of your passwords need to be changed and definitely anything that shared that password.
