I often see people comparing Vivaldi's music to metal, and this is perhaps the best example of that as the raw power Vivaldi captured in this iconic movement is unparalleled. In the accompanying sonnet, there is imagery of a thunderstorm and it's hard not to visualize the lightning strikes and hail falling when listening to this piece.
