August 2022 - Monthly Round Up

On Vacation Until August 12th

As I've mentioned, I am on holiday and will not be back until August 12th. This post and any appearing before then have all been scheduled to post. My partner and I and some friends are touring the West Coast of California and then heading inland to Vegas, where my partner and I will finally be getting married.

I have no idea what my internet connection will be like, but I know my timetable is pretty full. I have no desire to do any work whatsoever while on our honeymoon, so in all likelihood, I will not be around to answer messages or comments during this time.

This will not affect releases as I've been putting in overtime to get Keena ready for release on August 3rd as usual. I have also gotten a headstart on Ronelle for September, and she's in a good spot for me to pick up and finish without rushing when I get back.

My Mini Factory emails will be LATE due to me being on holiday. They will be sent if/when I get the time to be able to do so or when I get back.

Ritual Casting Cult (Patreon Alternative) - Last Month of Closed Beta

A massive thanks to those volunteering to test my website-based subscription service. Testing has highlighted a few bugs that were quickly squashed thanks to Maey, and this month should mark the last month of closed testing so long as those bugs have stayed squashed. This means it will be entering open beta in September.

So far, it has proven to be pretty effortless and efficient for both myself and subscribers. I look forward to opening up to a larger audience, and I'd like to thank Maey for her work and dedication to getting it working.

Next Model - The Anointing - Ronelle

The sky is on fire. The Veil burns with eerie incandescence, and the stars watch from behind the ethereal embers with a malignant permanence. With nothing to separate Aestara from the roiling void, it seeps into the land and spreads its stain, corrupting and spoiling whatever it touches.

Since the war in the south, when the Scorching began, there have been sightings of strange creatures in the ancient and twisted forest of Gwithilyn and word of entire tribes disappearing within has finally reached the Treveri tribe. They now prepare their warriors and scouts to investigate the spreading shadow.

In this two-part diorama, an untested warrior by the name of Keena kneels before Ronelle, the seeress of the Treveri and presents her blade to receive the Anointing before she departs on her quest.
