April 2025 update

Hey there, everyone.

Another month has come and gone and I can't help but feel like I haven't really done that much, despite wanting to write more. Part of it is because of the crappy weather and SAD, but also because I'd twisted my ankle 3 weeks ago and was kinda stuck at home without being able to move around much. Leading to more depression. Leading to less energy and will to write.

Yay.

Not gonna promise anything, but assuming we don't suddenly get Winter 2.0 in April, I will probably have a lot more time and energy for writing.

As for what?

Well, my plan is still to at least finish part 2 of Weaver, while I dabble in some side projects to keep the inspiration going.

After I finish that, I might take a bit of a break from posting just to lower the stress a bit, but once I'm back into it, I wanted to start a new project.

See, I've learned a lot from writing Weaver. From the fact that writing a LitRPG is a pain in the butt because you have to constantly keep track of a million things, to the fact that writing a realistic stream chat is really hard, to the fact that I just don't enjoy writing overly serious and depressing stories that much, and I felt like that was what Weaver had become even though Nana tried her best to joke around and be positive.

So, I want to write a comedy again. Or at least something that's a lot more lighthearted with a protagonist who has a very bright-eyed view of life and won't let bad experiences deter them.

What exactly that's going to end up being? I'm not entirely sure yet, but I've had my eye on some of the story concepts I'd talked about in the February monthly update.
