RIA [0.6.10] (Possible Delay, JD is sick) Important!

Hello all! Boom here, 

I have some possible bad news regarding this months (RIA 0.6.10) update.

5 days ago I lost contact with JD "The main person working on RIA at this time"
This was very unusual as we are normally in constant contact with each other. 

3 days went by and I started to become worried, I know 3 days doesn't sound like a lot but considering we usually talk to each other several times a day every day regarding development, etc this was very out of character. 

I decided to call him up just to check if everything was okay, and after several attempts he finally answered, however he did not sound like his usual self.

He had been sick for the past couple of days and had been trying to sleep it off thinking he had just caught a bug of some kind, however over those couple of days he had been getting worse and worse.

Yesterday he finally gave in and ended up calling his doctor.
After a general examination and some blood tests they confirmed today that he has contracted Covid. 

The good news is that there are no signs of fluid on the lungs or respiratory issues, so it doesn't appear to be life threatening.

The bad news is that he's in bad shape, low on fluids due to the fever and doesn't have enough energy to get out of bed let alone do any work type things, currently he's spending the majority of his time trying to sleep it off.

Obviously I can't say at this time how long it's going to take for him to recover as it can range from just a couple of days to 2-4 weeks. 

Hence the reason why I'm writing this post : 

At this moment in time no work is being done on RIA due to "JD" currently being out of commission and depending on how long he's out of commision for there is a very high chance that we won't be able to put out an update for RIA this month. 

That being said : he has stated that if he recovers quickly and feels well enough then yes, he'll try and get an update out but just wanted to make it very clear that if this is the case then the update itself will be relatively small due to the lost time. 

He wanted me to let you all know that he is very sorry and will try to make it up to all of you once he's back on his feet. 

So What now ? : 

Well.... Now we wait, he's hoping for a speedy recovery but only time will tell.

We'll hopefully know more next week as by this time he'll either be showing signs of improvment or in the same state that he is in now.

Obviously we're hoping for the positive outcome, not only for JD's well being but also so that we can at the very least get out a small update for the end of this month.

What will happen to next months update if we can't get out an update this month? 

Next months update (First actual penetration sex event for both M&S) will go ahead as planned, as JD "should" be 100% recovered by that point and we've all waited long enough for this update to finally happen!

All that will happen is that we'll push this months update back behind that one instead,
So that you'll still get to see the (first actual sex events for M&S) next month as planned.

It just means that the  :
"Need to start a new game to see the implemented content"
Will apply for 1 more month.

I'll keep you updated :
If anything major changes, I'll be sure to let you all know.

Otherwise just keep an eye out for next weeks post as I'll know more about what we're planning to do about this months build by then.

Both JD and I would like to apologise for this inconvenience and hope you can all understand that sometimes people get sick and there's not much that can be done about it besides waiting it out.
