July 2024 update

Hey there, everyone!

Somehow, I completely missed the fact that it's a new month and forgot to post an update... whoops.

Anywho, what's new this month?

Honestly, not that much. I keep working on Weaver, hoping that I'll one day finish the first dungeon so the story can finally move on. Unfortunately for me, the words just keep multiplying! Seriously, my initial outline had Nana complete the dungeon by chapter 20, but now it's looking more like she will be done by chapter 50 instead. >.<

And considering I guesstimated part 1 of this story to be about 100 chapters, with the story as a whole having 6 parts, I wouldn't be surprised if this project turns into a multi-million word monster by the end.

Hahaaa...

By the way, I had an idea the other day. Because of the format and how the chat in Weaver works, wouldn't it be a good opportunity to make it into a pseudo-interactive story? Eg. you guys comment on what you would want to say (and under what nickname) to Nana in the chat, and then it would appear in the story at some point and Nana would react to it.

Of course, it wouldn't be possible for you to make comments in the moment without me having to edit the whole chapter to accomodate it, but I feel like it could work if the comments were something like "I've been thinking about X and what if..." or "Remember when X, happened? How about..." or other comments that can could come up in chat at any time.

Do you think it's a good idea? Would you like to say something to Nana? Let me know!

Other than that, I recently slapped myself in the face and decided to set myself a hard deadline for finishing the Actress E-book that I keep talking about in these updates. I want to have it done by the end of this month or... or you'll all feel very disappointed in me because I said I would.

There. Peer pressure acquired. Now go and finish the E-book, me.
