With a furious, caveman-like scream, Fiery Hair roared, unleashing her “technique,” which she simply called “Bongaga Gongah.” She swung her massive fists against the vile Coldwind, smashing her entire body!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Explosions of flames erupted with each punch, pummeling the Frost Ant into the ground, breaking her arms and legs, and tearing them to shreds as green and purple blood splattered onto the floor.
“Aaaaaiiiieeeehhh!”
Coldwind screamed in agony, left barely alive by Fiery Hair. The brave cavewoman had made sure not to target vital areas, keeping her just alive—perhaps out of mercy or something else entirely.
Maybe she thought Coldwind would be more useful alive than dead, as she had learned from her mate, Bing Xue, about keeping foes alive for interrogations.
“Y-Youuu…!”
Coldwind’s body twitched in agony. She constantly vomited purple blood, and her eyes looked unfocused. Never in her entire life had she been overwhelmed and humiliated in such a way. The worst part was that she hadn’t even been killed; she had been spared—a terrible insult to her pride as one of the Goddess’s Ten Winter Generals.
“Bug woman, don’t move! Or Fiery Hair will smash you to death and burn you to ashes! Understood? No more killing little ants! Little ants are innocent and nice; don’t hurt them!”
Fiery Hair angrily pointed her enormous fists at the Frost Ant. Despite being smaller in height compared to Coldwind, her fists were huge. Her arms were usually larger than a normal human’s, resembling an arm-to-body ratio similar to a gorilla’s, and when she powered up, those arms and hands only grew bigger.
“Mama! The people are safe; everyone has already run away,” Rainbow Eyes informed his mother. “What do we do now? Where’s Mommy?”
He looked for Bing Xue and detected her presence a few kilometers away, near a frozen forest.
“Looks like she went somewhere else,” Urbosa’s voice echoed beside him. “I can’t sniff her close by.”
“I heard an explosion upstairs,” Merkite added. “Could she have gone somewhere outside?”
“Yeah, I saw my sister running outside through the window,” Ruby said. “She broke through the walls above and then the whole underground. She’s outside!”
“But why, though? What’s going on?” Merneith asked, confused. “Was she also attacked? Oh, wait…”
“Yeah, it was that big ant that went upstairs; he was looking for her!” Hekita said angrily. “We should go help her!”
“I doubt she needs our help. These monsters aren’t that strong, sis,” Rainbow Eyes shrugged.
“Not… strong…?! Heheh… Hahahaha…”
Out of nowhere, Coldwind started laughing. Fiery Hair glared at her angrily, pointing her fists at her head.
“Told you not to speak or move! You want Fiery Hair to smash your head into the ground?!”
“Shut up, barbarian…! I wasn’t talking to you!”
FLUOOOSH!
A powerful gust of icy wind rushed out of Coldwind’s body, pushing Fiery Hair back. She noticed icy crystals forming on her skin, suddenly freezing her completely.
“Wha…?! Mom?!”
Rainbow Eyes panicked as he saw his mother turn into a frozen statue. Coldwind laughed as her limbless body floated in midair. New limbs made of divine ice grew from her wounds, while a Divine Frost Weapon—a staff—appeared behind her, glowing mysteriously.
“Behold the power of the Divine Frost Weapons, forged by our Queen’s own Divinity, Soul, and Ice! There is nothing stronger than them!”
She laughed, grabbing the staff and raising it into the sky. Ice spread even further around her, growing into large doors that opened, tearing through space and creating blue portals.
“{Dimensional Ice Door}!”
FLASH!
From these three-dimensional portals, three large, powerful figures stepped out, resembling her in form but differing in appearance. They were giant Frost Ants, the smallest standing four meters tall. One had a slender body like hers, with a pair of translucent wings, while the other two were bulky and muscular, carrying axes and hammers, respectively.
“What’s the meaning of this, Coldwind?!” the slender Frost Ant asked angrily. “What could possibly be so scary as to call us out of nowhere?”
“Heheh, maybe she’s finally getting scolded by Frostpierce—huh?!” the first bulky Frost Ant wondered, his eyes widening as he sensed the auras of the opponents in front of him.
“Wait a second, who are those guys?” The third Frost Ant was already surprised by these people, tightly gripping all four of his Divine Frost Axes.
“Don’t underestimate them; they’re all monstrous players! We must take care of them as quickly as possible!” Coldwind roared angrily. “We are all Winter Generals; our duty is to protect our world and our Queen’s reign! And they threaten it!”
“Mom!”
Rainbow Eyes panicked, his flames burning through his mother’s icy seal, but they had no effect, shocking him more than he had imagined.
“Hahaha! Did you think you could melt that? That’s no mere ice, child! That is a Divine Ice Seal. I’ve used the power of our Queen’s Divinity itself! There is no way for her to free herself, and no flames will ever melt that ice!” Coldwind laughed viciously.
“If that were the case, the ice could be easily melted, then…!” Athena commented, touching the ice. “This isn’t just the Divinity of that slumbering goddess; there’s something else connected to her.”
“Uugh! Damn it! Give me back my mother!” Rainbow Eyes roared angrily. The silver horn on his forehead glowed brightly as his white hair turned into flames.
RUMBLE!
He charged toward Coldwind, only for four giant frost hammers to stop him midway, smashing his body with immense force and pushing him back.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“Ugh! Annoying!”
Rainbow Eyes saw ice form around his arms, but his flames melted it quickly. He glared angrily at his adversary, a Frost Ant holding four hammers, with immense size and musculature.
“My name is Icehammer, I was given this title as the bearer of the Four Divine Hammers of Winter… You seem like a tough little creature. Fight me!”
The Winter General rushed toward Rainbow Eyes. The boy raged, his aura exploding with silver and rainbow flames as he smashed the ant’s hammers, spreading cracks through them.
CRAAASH!
He shattered them all into pieces with a series of punches. The Winter General watched in disbelief as his weapons fell apart, while the boy proceeded to kick him in the face and manifest several spears of flames, piercing his entire body.
“Burn!”
“S-Someone! Save meeeee! Aaaaggghh!”
The brave Icehammer met a quick end, his entire body burning to a crisp. The three other Winter Generals stared at the scene in disbelief… Against all common sense, it was the child who was stronger than the mother.
