The Heavenly Martial Empress Returns Chapter 320: Almighty Power

-----

Frostpierce was furious, smashing through the ceiling and storming onto the second floor of the Hunters Center. His steps spread frost in all directions, freezing the Red Ants that tried to flee. The vast majority were encased in ice instantly, shattered to pieces as he swung his claws and weapons, clearing space for his massive body.

“There you are!”

With a furious roar, his claw pierced the walls in front of him, tearing them apart. Stone crumbled to the ground, and a cloud of dust enveloped the area. His claws had caught his target instantly—he had sensed her presence already, and she seemed decently strong.

“W-Wha…?! General Frostpierce?!”

The old receptionist inside the office panicked, his voice trembling with disbelief and horror as Frostpierce appeared, his giant claws grasping Bing Xue, who, to him, was just a Player recently arrived on this Floor.

“No! Please, stop, my lord! Don’t do it!”

“YOU!”

Frostpierce ignored the old ant, his aura attempting to freeze him as he focused on the human woman in his claws, far smaller than he was. Yet, she wasn’t struggling, as if she had accepted her fate the moment he seized her.

“How rude! Is this how you welcome guests in this world?” Bing Xue asked, her eyebrows furrowing in anger. “Would you mind not grabbing me like that?”

“HAH! WEAKLING! YOU’RE THE ONE TALKING SHIT ABOUT THE QUEEN, RIGHT?! YOU SAID YOU DEFEATED HER?! HUH? WHAT’S THAT ALL ABOUT?! CARE TO EXPLAIN BEFORE I FREEZE YOU AND CRUSH YOU INTO LITTLE BITS?!”

“Well, yes, I fought your Queen on the second floor of the tower. The foolish woman decided it would be a good idea to come and fight me alongside fourteen other gods. They were strong, but not strong enough to stop me. Your goddess was easily defeated, and to be quite honest, she wasn’t even among the strongest of that group.”

“Wha… WHAT?!

Her words struck like a knife through his heart, his eyes filling with despair, panic, and yet burning anger and frustration.

“GRAAAAH! DIE!”

He tightened his claws, trying to crush her, but it didn’t work. Her body was simply tougher than he could have ever imagined. Instead, his claws shattered into pieces.

CRASH!

“Ugh?!”

His hand exploded, purple blood and blue flesh splattering onto the floor. The immense pain hit him like a truck, and he screamed in horror as Bing Xue dropped safely to the ground.

“Uuuuaaaaggh!”

As he wailed, she glanced back at the old man. He was unharmed; the bracelet she had gifted him generated a barrier of Starlight, protecting him from the ice.

“Run away for now! Your bracelet will help you create a protective barrier; it can expand as much as you want. Protect anyone you see along the way!”

“W-What? Oh…! Okay!”

He nodded, swiftly leaping out of the window and crawling down. Chaos reigned below—on the first floor, her family must have already begun fighting another of the generals. The sound of Frost Ant armies rushing toward them echoed through the building.

“THIS…! CANNOT BE!”

Frostpierce screamed angrily, conjuring a new claw made of ice and swinging it at her. It shattered into pieces the moment it struck her.

CRASH!

“N-No…! NOOOOO!”

He couldn’t believe how resilient she was. Screaming to the skies, he grabbed his weapons—sharp, divine armaments crafted from high-quality materials, likely created by his Queen and Goddess herself.

“{Freezing Rampage}!”

He roared mightily, charging at her with his enormous body. All six of his arms moved in unison, regenerating another icy claw as he swung his six weapons at her.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

Spears, swords, axes, and hammers relentlessly attempted to pulverize her. Each blow generated a shockwave that shook the entire building, shattering the floor and ceiling into pieces. Freezing ice spread everywhere, sprouting sharp crystals across the area.

Yet, no matter how fiercely he struck, it was futile. No damage was dealt. He quickly realized something was wrong—either with her or his weapons.

Crack, crack…!

CRASH!

To his shock, all six of his divine weapons developed cracks and shattered into pieces.

“What?! Impossible…! This cannot be happening…”

Bing Xue took a single step forward, and he recoiled in fear, his face contorted with horror. Her Aura surged, growing exponentially. Blazing flames and radiant light enveloped her as she channeled her powers. The ice around her melted instantly, and Frostpierce felt himself weakening as the environment grew warmer.

“N-No…! Get…! Get away from me!”

He fled, smashing through the walls behind him and sprinting toward the frozen pine tree forest. She was stunned—truly a coward among cowards, wasn’t he?

“Come on now, don’t run.”

FLASH!

In a single second, she moved through space, teleporting in front of him. His eyes widened as he tried to punch her away. His aura erupted into a swarm of ethereal, freezing ants, attacking her like an army of his own.

However, she released a brilliant light from her body, and they vaporized instantly, leaving nothing behind. To him, the vast power difference between them was now undeniable.

Yet, driven by stubbornness and stupidity, he attacked her anyway in a desperate attempt to drive her off.

She caught his fist with her index finger, channeling light into it and releasing a powerful, concentrated beam of sunlight.

BOOOM!

“Ugh?!”

He gasped in disbelief as a hole appeared through his chest, purple blood splattering across the floor. His eyes brimmed with utter shock.

“A-Ahh…!”

He gasped for air but could no longer breathe, collapsing to the ground and slowly bleeding out. Even with a hole in his chest, the resilient general clung to life.

“What is happening here?!”

“Frostpierce?!”

Suddenly, two other voices rang out behind her. Turning, she saw two giant Frost Ants, similar to Frostpierce, standing there.

Their Auras were stronger than any other Ants in this world—they were most likely two more Winter Generals.

“He will soon die, but if you want me to spare him, you will lead me to your Goddess’ Palace.”
